Yuvreen OS
The aroma of coffee filled in the atmosphere as she sat there watching the many couples sharing their special moments with one another. The weather was fine with gentle breeze blowing their way,making the leaves of trees dance along with them. The sun had not set yet and the sky displayed a golden and saffron curtain with sparkling lining of the clouds that were glittering with the touch of the sunrays. She smiled and sat admiring her surroundings without paying any heed to the coffee mug full of coffee infront of her. The coffee mug was ignored from a long time and its steams had vanished. Someone's voice broke her attention.
"O Guggal...bhai ke intezaar main atleast hamara mehnat toh kharab na karo".
She smiled and turned to the other side and found Rathie grinning at her. He pulled a chair and sat near her table. Mannu,Annie and Naro also joined out of nowhere pulling a chair each for themselves.
"Ha yaar Suvi...Yuvi ke bare mein sochti rehti hai...its ok...par inka mehnat kharab mat kar...kitne mushkil se finally coffee banana seekhe ye log tab jaake caf bana paaye" Annie said and giggled.
Rathie made a face. Suvreen also giggled.
Naro-"Waise Suvi...soch kya rahi thi?...shaadi ke bare mein?"
Annie and Naro hi-fived.
Suvreen-"Kya??.shaadi?...pagal ho kya?...kuch bhi!" said a little blushing.
Gang-"Ohooo..."
Mannu-"Oye rathie tu kis soch mein duba hua hai?"
Rathie-"Mannu...main ye soch raha tha ki...jab Suvreen aur bhai ki shaadi ho jayegi toh hume Guggal ko bhaabi bulana padega"
Suvreen shot up her eyes wide while others enjoyed it and laughed.
Suvreen-"Please guys...ab koi bakwaas nahi...jaisa hai waisa hi rehne do...what is this shaadi and all...itna aagaey mat badho"
Annie-"Suvi...we have a better idea...tum jaake use bol kyun nahi dete?"
Naro and others shared their hmm' agreeing to the statement.
Suvreen-"Nahi yaar...easy nahi hai"
Annie-"Kya easy nahi hai?"
The place was now empty except the Super six gang as customers had left and caf was about to be closed.
Suvreen-"He is my best friend...shayad who mere bare mein aisa kuch sochta na ho aur..."
Annie-"What aur? Go to him and seedha bol ki Yuvraj,I..."she said in a louder voice getting irritated.She was very much interested in solving matters of love but becomes very irritated when no one takes the first step towards confession. But before her completion Suvreen put her hand on her mouth leaving Annie and others astonished.
Yuvraj-"Kya batein ho rahi hai bhai...mujhe bhi batao aur topper tu aise bechari Annie par waar kyun kar rahi hai..."
He came and joined in too.Suvreen brought her hand back and said-"Woh kuch nahi Yuvraj but aise hi"she tried to put her best assuring smile throwing daggers at Annie.Annie smiled and continued-
"Kya kuch nahi...main bata rahi thi ki Suvreen tu ja aur..."
Suvreen-"Kya faltu batein kar raha hai Annie...Yuvraj tum bolo itne der se andar chuha pakad rahe the?"
Yuvraj-"Tu interrupt mat kar...Bolne de use...haan bol Annie..."
Others were enjoying the scene and passing giggles.
Annie-"Bataun Suvi?"
Suvreen nodded her head from side to side trying to say no'.
Annie-"Who kya hai na...Suvi tujhe kuch bolna chahti thi...toh main use bata rahi thi kit u jaa Yuvraj ke paas aur use bol de ki I..."
Suvreen put her head in her palms and closed her eyes.
A-"I want to spend some time with you..."
Suvreen lifted her head with a shocked face. Yuvraj also looked at Suvreen and got it that daal mein kuch kala hai'.
Yuvraj-"Haan par we spend time with each other na...sab toh milte hain"
Naro-"Arre Yuvraj ye toh group wala hai...akele main...I mean best friends wala time spending"
Suvreen frowned at both of them.
"Maine yeh kab kaha tha yaar?" said Suvreen irritatedly.
Annie-"Acha tumne nahi kaha par hume pata chal gaya,right Naro"
Naro-"Hmm..."
Annie signaled to Rathie and Mannu to leave.
Rathie-"Oye Mannu tereko yaad nahi...aaj hamara ek kaam tha..."
Mannu-"Oye kaunsa kaam?"
Rathie smacked his head..."Aree woh...woh wala kaam"
Mannu-"Acha woh kaam...main toh bhul hi gaya tha...chal" and off they went.
Yuvraj-"Oye ruko toh...aisa kya kaam agaya hai tum dono ko..."
Rathie-"Bhai baad mein bataunga..."
ANNIE-"Naro...mujhe mere fb friend ke liye bday presentation banana hai...chal"
Suvreen-"Arre tum dono ko bhi jaana hai?"
Annie-"Haan Suvreen...aaj bas tum dono free ho...hume bahot kaam hai...baad mein milenge ok"
Annie and Naro also went.Left were only Yuvreen.
Yuvrej-"Ab hum kya kare?'
Suvreen-"Chalo kahin jaana hai"
It was beginning to be darker.They were in some temple with many caves and stairs to top from where one could see the whole city from the top. The temple bells chimed themselves for the winds touch.They kept climbing till they reached the top.
Yuvraj-"Arre baapre kitna chalayegi topper"
Suvreen-"Chee kamzor hogaya cheetah...itna nahi chadh paa rahe ho"
Yuvraj-"Oye cheetah kamzor nahi hota...'
Suvreen-"Acha theek hai...baith jao yahi"
They sat down by each others' side and stared at the beautiful scenery infront of them.The sky as if touching the ground with the hues of purple and vermillion mixing within.
Yuvraj-"Topper yahan kyun layi mujhe...who bhi itna kasht karwake"
Suvreen-"Bas yuhi..." she said smiling.
Yuvraj looked at her for some seconds before saying-"Tujhe kuch batana hai kya?"
Suvreen took a long breath and looked at him and nodded in a yes'.Yuvraj took her hand in his encouraging her to continue.
Suvreen-"Yuvraj...tum mere best friend ho...main tumhare sath sab kuch share kar sakti hun,haina?"
Yuvraj-"Bina koi jhijhak kar sakti hai"
Suvreen looked at him and smiled."Bas yahi kaafi hai...be on my side whenever I need you"
Yuvraj-"Kabhi mana kiya hai kya?"
Suvreen nodded.
Yuvraj-"Suvreen can the same be me...main bhi tumhare satth sab kuch share kar sakta hun?"
Suvreen-"Haan...bina koi jhijhak"she said copying him which made Yuvraj smile too.
They remained like that and stayed silent trying to memorise the moment.Their one hand clasped together and the other wound around each other.After minutes of silence and enjoying the breeze their silence broke together.
"I love you!"
The words echoed in their ears.They looked at each other and found out the truth in their words by the assurance of their eyes.Their happiness knew no bounds.They smiled resting their foreheads on each other.
Yuvraj-"Ab toh zindagi bhi share karna padega tere sath!"
Suvreen-"Kyun nahi kar sakte?"
Yuvraj-"Kar sakta hun na...bina koi jhijhak!"
And that made both of them laugh.They were soulmates from the beginning and they knew that.So no specialities were needed for them to show that they love each other.Only the words with tenderness,care,faith and truth were needed.
