Part 6

Same day - 2 p.m.

Most of the DPSC students were waiting in the am phi-theater for Anish because he had to make some announcements . Some were also in the hospital. Yuvraj-Suvi and their friends didn't go to the hospital and were standing in the very front side of the crowd of the DPSC students.

"yeh achanak se yeh sab...kal hi elections the..aur aaj yeh sab accident.." said Annie.

"par mujhe unke liye bohot dar lagra hai..I mean kuch zyada.." said a tensed Suvi.

"tu tension mat le topper...itna bhi serious accident nehi tha.." Yuvi tried to calm Suvi down.

"haan bhai sahi kehrahe hain...Abhimanyu aur Principal ma'm ko sirf hath mein thodi chot ayi hai..aur Rhea..." Rathi also contributed to their conversation.

"Rhea ko kuch zyada hi chot aayi hai...I mean...doctor kehrahe the ki wo 2-3 mahino tak chal nehi paye gi.." added Mannu and the rest pitied over the poor Rhea.

"wo Rhea toh yehi deserve karti hai!" said Annie who always found Rhea as the attention-grabber and annoying all the time.

"shh Annie! Aisa nehi kehte..waise wo log jaa kahan rahe the?" Suvi turned to Yuvi.

"wo log college ki kuch kaam se kahin jaa rahe the..aur tab.." sighed Yuvi and noticed that Anish and Mr. Surya was coming by the other side. "shh big brother aur sunlight.." Anish's arrival made everyone stop their talks.

He cleared his throat and said in an authoritative yet quite frank voice, "Hello everyone." Students replied the hello back and Anish started again, "ap sab ko toh pata hi hoga ki kya hua hain...Principal ma'm hopefully 1-2 dino mein college ajayenge..and Ahimanyu too...but Rhea...humari present GS ...use thik hone mein shayad 2-3 mahina lag sakte hain.."

"smch kise farak padhta hai.." murmured Yuvi to which Suvi just chuckled and said, "shayad tum he..." in return she got an angry glare from Yuvi. They started to listen to Anish again.

"but as per to the college...Student President, SS, CS ke saath saath ek GS ki role bhi bohor important hoti hai.." Anish paused for a moment. Everyone nodded their head in agreement. "but...according to the circumstances..Rhea yeh responsibilities nehi le payegi...so...school authority ne ye decide kiya hai ki..." Anish paused again as if he was going to reveal something. Everyone was waiting for it. Suvi and Yuvi listened for it eagerly.

"Suvreen..jo Gyanesh ki GS ke liye candidate thi..ab wo Yuvraj ki GS hogi.." When these words reached Suvi's ears, her heart skipped a beat and eyes and mouth pened wide as her instant reaction. Suvreen...the GS?? Her insides were dancing as she could't for it in front of the entire college. She looked around. Every pair of eyes were on her. There was complete silence in the am phi-theatre as it was so unexpected. Suvi turned to her right where Yuvraj was standing and found him astonished yet grinning at her. Yeh sach itna khush hai?? She asked herself tring to read his expression but was interrupted when Annie and Naro screamed "Woohoo!" from the back shaking Suvreen to bring her back from her thinking-land. Then, everyone started cheering for Suvreen as she started walking slowly towards the front where Anish and Mr. Surya were standing. As she walked, she was wondering the game of her fate which was indeed pretty good and made her win. She thanked Anish when he congratulated her for becoming the GS of DPSC.

"ek aur baat...ab se leke agle tiin mahino tak..Suvreen hi DPSC ki GS rahegi...aur uske baad..Suvreen GS rahegi ya Rhea..yeh ap sab pe depend karega..." After finishing Anish smiled at everyone and said, "Have a Good day and Good luck to our new Student President, GS, SS and CS who'll start their work today.." Anish and Sunlight left and people started to leave too. Suvreen came back to her gang where everyone was quiet. She wondered why. Yuvi had a stern face and so did the others. Suvi asked them innocently, "kya hua?" and at the very next moment Annie and Naro hugged her tightly screaming their lungs out. Wow! They're so so happy! Yeh sab aap ke liye hi possible hua hai Gannu ji..thank you! Thought Suvi and smiled hugging her friedns even tighter while Mannu, Naro and Yuvraj cheered for her.

After that, they started walking towards the canteen because they planned for a celebration for Suvi. Suvreen was thinking. She was thinking why didn't Yuvraj say anything to her. No congratulations, no nothing. Why? Kya wok hush nahi hai ki main uski GS hoon? She saw Annie, MaNa and Rathi walking a bit fast so she slowed down to match up Yuvi's speed and starting waking with him. He glanced at her and narrowed his eyes. He asked her by raisin ghis eyebrows.

"wo main soch rahi thi..ki.." Suvi started to open up her confusion in front of Yuvi.

"tut oh hamesha sochti hi rehti hai.." added Yuvi. Suvi gave a fake smile and continued.

"tumhe yeh acha nahi laga ki main tumhari GS hoon?" asked Suvi genuinely. Yuvi thought for a moment.

"umm kyun?"

"kyun ki..tum kuch boltei nahi...congratz bhi nahi kaha mujhe..bhala koi apni GS ke saath aisa karta hai kya?" zomplained Suvi. By this time all of them entered the canteen and took a sit on the table nearby. Annie told Rathi to bring everything of Suvi's choice and then he went to get them. Someone was listening carefully when Suvi was telling Rathi about her Favorites. It was none other than Yuvi. When Suvi looked at him, he started to look elsewhere and act as if he was the most innocent guy present on Earth. Suvreen turned to her left and came little closer to his chair and said, "Continuing Mr. Cheetah. Aap kya chahte hi? Ki Rhea hi apki GS rahe??" asked Suvi smiling fakely at Yuvi.

He came closer to her and said, "abb Rhea toh hospital mein make-up karrehi hogi..GS kaise...aur koi chara bhi nahi hai.." answered Yuvi tring to look like he doesn't have any other choice than taking Suvi as his GS. Suvi's anger boiled a bit and she showed him her tongue and then turned towards Annie and Naro who were on her right. After exactly 5 seconds Suvi turned to Yuvi again and said, "jawab kyun nahi derae ho?? Lagta hai Rhea ko bohottt miss karre ho..hainaaa??" Suvi started to tease Yuvi and he just laughed inwardly at her interest and cuteness.

"dekh topper..main Mazak karra tha...main bohot khush hoon kit u GS hai ab...teri toh bohot iccha thi na..par afsos..tu meri GS hai...ab toh tujh se main dherrr sari kaam karaunga.." replied Yuvi smirking and Suvi sighed.

"thik hai thik hai..dekhloongi..."

5 p.m.

Yuvraj, Suvreen, Mannu and Rathi were having their very first meeting. They were talking about different issues in the college and what to do about them. All for them them put in ideas but Suvreen's ideas were always rejected by Yuvraj. Then, after 3-4 minutes of argument he approved them. The truth was that he appreciated all her ideas but his mind just wanted to irritate her by hook or by crook. On the other hand, Suvreen was determined that she wouldn't let the President win any argument. She glared at him every time their eyes met while Yuvi smirked.

"hum e na ek survey karna chahiye..ye pata karne ki liye ki students ko college mein zyada kya chahiye..athletics ya cultural activities..." suggested Suvreen hoping for everyone's approval. Then the expected rebuttal came from Yuvi.

"Topper..survey lene ki kya zaroorat hai?? Zahir si baat hai..ladkiyo ko cultural activities chahiye aur ladko ko athletics.."

"Yeh bhi sahi hai bhai" said Rathi nodding his head. Suvreen cursed under her breath when she realized that he indeed was right. But she wasn't going to lose so early.

She turned to Yuvi smiling nicely making him narrowed his eyes at her and say, "jii kahiye Topper"

"for you very kind information Mr. President...ladkiyo ko bhi sports mein ineterst hai...aur ladko ko cultural activities mein..." Yuvraj smirked at her intelligence and chuckled looking down at the table thinking what to say back.

"Topper..ek kam kar..last year bhi hum ne ek aisa hi survey kiya tha...tu use dekh le..tujhe sab kuch samajh mein ajayega.."

Suvi thought for some moments and said, "thik hai...file kahan par hai??" Rathi pointed towards the shelves somewhere far around the corner of the room. Suvi went towards the shelves and looked up at all the files on the shelves and glanced at Rathi again who was leaving the room.

"Rathi..konsi shelf mein hai??" shouted Suvi as a way of taking her anger on Yuvi which made all of the three boys look at her.

"wo 3 number shelf mein.." Rathi replied and left. Suvreen nodded her head and looked for a chair as the shelf was the topmost one. She got on a chair and looked over all the files.

"yaha toh kitni sari files hain...par kaunsi wali last year ki survey ki hai??" asked Suvi. She felt banging her head on the wall when she saw that Mannu left and Yuvraj was pretending that he didn't hear her.

"Yuvraj?" He was still not looking at her and acted engrossed in some other paper works.

"Cheetah?!?!" Suvi called him again different hoing for his reply but in vain.

"ughh Gadha!!!!" She yelled at the top of her voice and Yuvraj immediately looked at her feeling infuriated. He walked fast and cam einfront of her chair looking up to her.

Suvreen giggled saying, "tum cheete se gadha kab ban gaye??"

Yuvraj smirked, "main toh hamesha hi cheetah hoon."

"accha?? Abhi maine tumhe itni der se Yuvraj, Cheetah bulaya..par tumne ekbar bhi jawab nehi diya..hpir jab gadha bulaya...hahhaa..tum agaye.." Suvi started laughing hard holding her stomach making Yuvraj feel infuriated. Suvi was laughing so much that she didn't realize that she lost balance and was going to fall when Yuvraj caught her by her waist. She gasped with his touch and then realization struck her that he saved her once again. She opened her eyes and found him staring at her. *Look Look Hawa Hawa w/ YuvReen BG*
