Father son track - a bitter bliss

😊After going through so many weird and less weird tracks, the cvs have now introduced us to the father son relationship track..between karna and vrishasen...it had such a large potential to be a beautiful track..but the cvs with their great brains have turned the track in a hate rivalry track..not that we won't like some cool banters but karna's own son blaming him for never caring, I don't know what to say about this...in all the books and texts I have read about Karna, vrishasen was depicted as a loving and devoted son...guess the track will progress as such...also the laxmana and saam's relationship is news to me..does anyone know about it?

In one story I heard Duryodhan had a son by name Lakshmana Kumara who wanted to marry Balaram's daughter Sasirekha but Abhimanyu ends up marrying her. But now the story took complete inverse of that. Lakshmanakumara became Lakshmana a girl and instead of Sasirekha they introduced a new character Shyam, son of Krishna (I thought Pradhyumna was son of Krishna). So I am now learning an entire new Mythological naration. Wow!

I dug up some wiki stuff. here is the story of Lakshmana Samba.

I think Saam is Samb, the story of Samb marrying Dury's daughter is mentioned in Bhagwat Puraan (not is proper Mahabharat). But Karna Vrihsena bitter relation?😭😭😭. Did they show Vrishketu as of now?

Shipreeta,your whole rendering of Lakshmana Samba story is quite true. But only the part where you wrote Subhadra loved Arjun,Arjun did not even think of such marriage that is not given in MBH BoRi or any version. The above post is from KMG translation. It was clearly stated Arjun fell in love or attracted to her at the very first sight. Krishna endorsed it clearly. Marrying Bua's son is acceptable.In those days and even today such marriages are in practice.Krishna married Nagnajiti his uncle's daughter as per Maha Bhagawat.Actually Star Bharat distorted Subhadra episode by showing Arjun disinterested towards her. He is totally smitten by her and her being his uncle's daughter made his task easier.Subhadra reciprocated by readily accepting her abduction with beautiful smiles. So such marriages do happen then and now.But what is absurd is Vrishasen's friendship with Samba which is highly impossible.Samba can be a friend to Abhi but not to Vrishasen. After all Abhi lived in Dwaraka .
