From what I have read, post the marriage Samb and Lakshmana were a very Lovey Dovey couple.At least Saamb was since he spent most of his time with his wife so I wouldn't have mind the love story of Saamb and Lakshmana.

Comeon people they do show love stories for arrange marriages as well, be Bharat Mandavi, Shatrughan Shutkirti, Siddhartha(Buddha)-Yashodhara or Mohandas (Gandhi) Kasturba. The problem with me is the love triangle😕😕😕. How does the marriage between Uttar Kumar and Lakshmana help Duryodhan? The world knows (and I feel very sad to admit) that it is always the family of the girl who is in the back foot, they genrally have to accept the demands of the guys family, had this marriage happened, Virat and family would be required to do what the Pandavas wanted and hence Dury would have to do what Virat wanted (cascading to what Pandavas wanted). I would have accepted the logic had they asked for the alliance of Uttara with Laksham as well. Uttar an Uttara marrying Lakshmana and Lashman would have been nice😆😆😆

Since Paundrak is not happy with alliance of Lakshama and Uttar, he might actually support the relation of Saamb and Lakshmana, so hopefully it is not Paundrak+SPK vs Jr Paundrak Jr. SPK. I think Karna since is duty bound to Dury will support him, while Vrihsena will support his friend. It might be Kartavya vs pyaar once again

I too have the same anguish with BR Chopra...

Granted the actors were brilliant...the music was great...n it was closer to the epic compared to the modern versions...but BR Chopra had become a must watch thus brainwashing generations of people with false inventions...

Shakuni as the limping villain...Andha Ka Putra Andha...Pandavas, Karna n Kunti as white...all these exaggerations were invented by BR Chopra n ingrained into the public minds.

I dont think Karna was white in BRC, in fact they did show his asking for the Ceerharan (most of the later versions didnt), he was shown as saying that Pandavas had the duty to save Dury from Gandharvas as they were his praja etc, but yes he was still painted in a lighter shade.

i just see this show in bits and pieces, and what i see in this show is compleate bogus. hey vrish, and congrats for your becoming dt member, can we still trash this show like we used to?
