I can't vote in the poll since I haven't seen DBSK and SPK fully... Leaving out these two, I guess Peter Brooke's would be my choice...I do understand your comment on BRC's MB, Vrish. I had quite a huge embarrassing experience with it 🤢If I remember correctly, BRC's MB said Karna was unmarried and I believed it. According to that serial, when Duryodhan asked Karna why he hasn't married, Karna replied that he fancies two women. Duryodhan asks him to name them and he would get them both for Karna but Karna says that he can only accept one. When asked for an explanation, Karna says the maidens he sought after are Arjun's death or hiw own. 😕 I kind of took this quite seriously and even ended up in a debate with another person who then brought me books and translations to show me that Karna was indeed married and had many sons. ...I was glad that someone took the effort to show it to me, though 😊It was much later when I sought out more information that I found little tidbits about Karna's wives Vrushali and Supriya but there was some information about Ponnaruvi as well.
Episode discussions here?I was really glad to see the gold mountain story... I have been wanting to see it onscreen. Also, in every Mahabharat portrayal, it is shown that Barbarik meets Krishna the first time when the war is imminent. Does any version show his earlier meeting with Krishna? I remember reading a story about that...

In Vyasa itself, he had no son named Vrishaketu, and in Vyasa, he had 5 sons, all of whom were killed on days 17 & 18. On day 17, Satyaki killed Prasena and Arjun killed Vrishasena b4 his final encounter w/ Karna. On day 18, Nakul killed Karna's remaining 3 sons - Chitrasena, Sushena & Satyasena.

Oh. So... Karna's family was obliterated as well in the war, according to Vyasa... Were any of his sons (or daughters) married? Any of them had children of their own? From what I had read, Vrishketu was the last person with the knowledge of the astras and Krishna bid him to keep the secret and not pass it on as it would bring mass destruction if it was available in Kali Yuga.I have no idea if he was married and had children of his own......About yesterday's episode, I loved the father-son chemistry. It was beautiful to see Vrishasena supporting and taking care of his father and Karna leaning on him - the portrayal was so realistic and beautiful 👏
