From wat I have understood...Karna is one of those characters of the epic on whom a lot can be explored n written...I have said this many times earlier n I'll say this again...

Anti-heroes n anti-heroines are the best kind of characters from a creative perspective...

Bcoz they can be explored in multiple ways bcoz of the various shades in their characters...

Siddharth Tewary had a golden opportunity...He had the money...the sets...the actors...

He could have made one of the best shows ever made on Mahabharat with Karna as the lead.

He could have shown Karna as a flawed man with inner conflicts...

Someone who knew how to be good but ended up doing the opposite bcoz of circumstances n his own inherent flaws...

But no...instead he showed Karna falling in loving with Vrushali n then marrying Supriya...n then saving Vrushali from a Nagin...n then cursing Draupadi for rejecting him n running after her to save her honour...

Instead of laughing at the Pandavas n relishing the helplessness of those men who had always insulted him...he actually cries n feels bad for them...

He even runs after them to save them from Lakshagriha.

He is doing 'Vasudev Vasudev' every now n then n also chanting 'Stree Ka Samman, Stree Ka Samman'

wearing a Kancheevaram himself...

I did see glimpses of epic Karna in Gautam Rode in that pre-Swamvar scene with Draupadi which is y I liked it...but other times Sony Karna is just an over-righteous, confused, loud cry baby with no attachment to his own family but lots of attachment to Kunti n Draupadi...

They have completely butchered Karna but gloriously nonetheless...They have not blackwashed him...

They are actually whitewashing him thoroughly...making him over-righteous but the manner of whitewashing is so pathetic that even his fans are hating it...

Karna is any way one of the most loved n glorified characters of the epic...There was no need to do this extra whitewashing to garner more love n sympathy for him...

In short...this show is 👎🏼

After watching 2des epi...I didn't feel surprised or shocked coz sid T creative team hs crossed all d lines😕...I feel v r dumb to compare this awsm drama wit some old epic story wit similar characters..🤢. Anything cn happn nw.I'm all prep for anything nw..bring it on sid T...😈

Watched today's episode in parts...

Bhima is lost...Karna cries as usual.

Yudisthir stakes himself after a lot of drama...n becomes a slave.

In between Karna declares Shakuni as the 'khalnayak' n gives Yudisthir bhashan after bhashan on 'Laalach' of various kinds...

Laalach of earning more...Laalach of getting back wat is lost...🥱

I changed the channel immediately.

Anyway...Yudisthir stakes himself n loses. Karna cries a little more.

Draupadi cries in her chamber wondering wat is happening outside. Yudisthir comes to her n tells her everything is fine...she becomes happy...

I changed the channel again...🥱

It was an illusion anyway.

Tomorrow...Shakuni tells Yudisthir to stake Draupadi n Dushasen(who looks more like Rishi Vishwamitra) says something...Potputra Duryodhan gives a teary-eyed constipated look like he usually does at the thought of Draupadi being staked...Draupadi throws a flower vase at the mirror...probably after hearing that she has been lost.

Looking forward to the wrath of Draupadi for which she is sooo Badnaam...😳

Now will be the biggest test for Pankhuri

Oh by the way...forgot to mention...Karna still cries after hearing of Draupadi being staked.

Didn't Yudhistir stake himself FIRST? How does he get to stake himself a SECOND time? After Bhima, shouldn't he have gone straight to Draupadi?

As for YT comments, which YT channels are we talking here? SET?

He staked himself once and lost...

The other scene with Draupadi is her illusion...
