Vrishali is a fictional Charecter. Vyasa did not mention Karna's wives in particular. Vrishasen was his eldest son and Vrishaketu was his youngest as per the epic. He had as many as twelve or thirteen sons totally.

I was just mentioning about this serial and not the history.

As far as I know Karna only had 8 sons and did have multiple wives (as Gandhari quotes that his wives were crying on his death).

Yesterday...they showed Lakshmana...n I must say in this show she is looking far prettier than Star Plus' Mahabharat...however she is looking somewat bitchy...just my opinion.

As for Karna n Vrishasena...Father gives bhashan on PARIVARTAN n Son gives bhashan on PARIVARTAN minus TAN aka PARIVAR...

And now father n son will come face to face for Lakshmana-Shyama love story...

I am glad I am not watching the show regularly anymore.

@Bold why Lakshmana-Shyama love story? Laksmana is not a family member of Vrihsena, why does he need to be involved in this issue at all?

Its Samba, if I m not wrong. And its gonna be Samba-Lakshmanaa love story and Vrishasena is a friend of Samba. The mind boggling thing is that both the boys are hell bent against their fathers. Another reason for the eternal sakhas to bond over.

ohkay so i watched this show after like eternity... and what is happening.. Did dury have a daughter?😲 and was there any krishna's son angle like this...😲...I dont know much of Mahabharat in detail.. so not sure...whats going on... Why do they have to add extra tragic angle to Father Karna...oh ya got it...this guy is supposed to get it from everywhere...😛..punching bag of SidT😛

What Vrihsena is Saamb's I mean Saam's friend? How come these people even meet, Hastinapur and Dwarika, Guajarat and Delhi. I am sure post DS, Krishna never visited Hastinapur and no need of Vrihsena or Karna to visit Dwarika, it was not even in the Vijay Yatra maarg of Karna.

And BTW I remember reading it somewhere that During the Digvijay, Vrihsena was accompanying Karna. What the hell is going on😕😕😕

I now feel that SidT has just done generation leap like what is done is Ekta Kapoor serials (rather in all serials now a days)

I just replied to this point in another thread. Duryodhan had twins, son Lakshman and daughter Lakshmana. The story of Saamb and Lakshmana is mentioned in Bhagwat Purana and not in pure Mahabharat. For the entire details please read my comment in the below mentioned comment
