I've gone through the entire discussion here
I'm currently reading KMG Mahabharat and its really intruding😳
I like the descriptions even though I'm still stuck on adi parva😛😆
Well the matter being after this what other version of MB should I read
Also any books available particularly on Draupadi to be suggested plz
Lastly my name is manali. You can call me manu😳

Hello...
KMG is a version to start with after which you can move on to the Critical Edition translated in English by Bibek Debroy.

As for novels...you can read the following:

Yajnaseni by Pratibha Ray...a famous novel but it portrays Draupadi in a very whiny way.

Palace of Illusions...a marvellous read but it has the infamous love story of Karna n Draupadi.

Draupadi by Kajal Ojha...but it is in Gujarati...not sure if the English translation is available.

And Now Let Me Sleep by PK Balakrishnan...probably the best novel ever written on Draupadi. This novel portrays Karna from Draupadi's perspective without any scandalous angle.

As per KMG...wen Ashwathama attacked their camp...they woke up n started fighting...n died fighting.

But in Srimad Bhagavatam they were killed in their sleep.

Prativindhya is mentioned in some places...so he may have existed but the others are most probably interpolations.

You people are probably thinking that I keep on saying this is interpolation n that is interpolation...😆
But I am doing so after A LOT of heated discussions with fellow members...so though I dont claim it to be a fact...I can only say it is a possibility.

Yeah, these different versions creat confusions nd we can say only tht it may be interpolation...

Include Arjun Without Doubt by Dr Sweety Shindey . It is a love story of Draupadi and Arjun . It was told in a beautiful realistic way. Draupadi was given equal importance though the title suggests otherwise . It will be a delight to Arjun Draupadi lovers but it may irk others just like I was irked by Palace of Illusions. Then there are many research works on Draupadi by great scholars like Dr Chakrapani,Rani Sadasivamurty and others who presented beautiful thesis works on her life. Ofcourse the much criticised novel Draupadi by Dr Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad renowned Hindi professor and Rayasabha member. Novels you may have access but thesis I am not sure as they may not be available online . But they all explored her Charecter in their own way .Then The Pancha Kanyas by Dr Malladi Chandrasekharsastry Asthan Pandit of Tirupati Devasthanam clears every doubt regarding the Enigma called Draupadi,

Aanvi asked me to put this DP for 2 years of draupadi. But yes, i agree, doing such things on IF from phone can be impossible. I too managed from phone for at least a month when my laptop was not working.
