I have met many such fans on Facebook during MB days and I know there are many secret admirers from Mahabharat forum as well...

In fact I have seen many Karna admirers who hate Draupadi but actually WANT her to be in love with him...
And there are Draupadi admirers like Chitra Banerjee as well who consider Karna as the ideal hero for her...

We cant exactly change it... 😭 although we Drauholics did oppose this pairing a lot to the extent of being mocked...
But I really hoped that atleast Siddharth Tewary would not show such things...

I know novels like Palace of Illusions have shown this angle...but the truth is, TV is a much more far-reaching medium than English novels...So...the number of people watching the serial on TV is far more than those who have invested in an English novel...

Anyway...the makers dont care much about facts. They are here to do business n will show watever fetches them high TRPs...Unfortunately...maybe thanks to these novels...K-D has become immensely popular...
So they might actually invest here...

So true if K-D are so popular today then all the credit for this goes to those novels!

Yes dear...like I said there are lovers and haters in all fan groups...Ofcourse there are Draupadi fans supporting K-D...
But from my experience most K-D fans are Karna lovers...

Either way...K-D is popular...let's see how far Siddharth Tewary goes to fetch high TRPs...

Amrita, is it right to pin point finger at a particular fan group?? K-D may be popular or may be nt, bt saying K-D is popular that too coz majority Karn fans supporting them is it right ??all the comments in fb SPK pg and twitter are frm GR FanS. They are liking it, and we can't call them Karn fans ?? they might hardly knw anything abt MB

Honestly I have not visited Suryaputra Karna Facebook and Twitter pages ever...so I am not aware of what discussions are going in there...Maybe they are Gautam Rode fans...maybe they are Pankhuri fans...I am not sure...

I said...of all the K-D fans most of them, as per my experience, are Karna fans...And ofcourse there are Draupadi fans as well...Did I not say that?
Whatever I mentioned...I have said so based on Mahabharat fan pages...and wat I have seen on Mahabharat forum.
I have clearly mentioned that I am not gonna comment on Suryaputra Karna forum as I am not sure.


As for pinpointing at any particular fan group...well I have mentioned BOTH Karna fans and Draupadi fans isnt? 😊
And I have merely expressed my experiences which may not be a fact...That also I have mentioned.

For example...as per my experiences, most Draupadi fans are Ardi fans...That is an observation.
And it's not a bad thing is it?

And I did point out that there are many Karna fans who oppose K-D...and Draupadi fans who support it.There are all kinds of people in every fan group...

in my honest opinion, i belive that krisna was the ideal for krishnaa, because she was a partial avatar of lakshmi or shri. arjun was seccond choice for draupadi he also was a partil avatar of narayan, so it's ok. as for k-d angle, how is it posible? there was nothing bitween panchali and karna exept enimity, just because karna couldn't digest the fact that he wasn't able show of his skill at yaagyseni's swayamvar.

I just hope the story moves forward fast and the war begins soon...
Really dont want any K-D and Draupadi discussion here... 😭


The CVs should show the 'legendary' rivalry of Karna and Arjun without any exaggeration instead of other fictitious things...

Ist of all karna did not went to drau's invitation without reason...he was very much there as suitor...even dd himself said that fact gladly and it is ritual that if some one had problem with his caste then they should stop him before his attempt...but unfortunately none did so..

2nd..when karna attempt the swamvar then he was already king...no more a suta...so calling him as suta is utterly illogical

3rd drau may had choice to reject him...but the rejection may be happened in polite way...

But some ppl have very well tendency to blame karna just for everything..

If your comment is a reply to my post then,

Firstly, I am not bothered about about whether he was baraati or suitor.
Different people have different way of seeing this...
The sentence construction in KMG is confusing...so it is open to interpretation.
We can believe watever we want.

Secondly...I am not very knowledgeable about the social structure but I feel that caste mattered more than Kingship to people in those days(I could be wrong here).
He waw King for sure but he was still known as the 'Son of Suta'...That mattered, I guess.
Not saying it is fair...ofcourse it is very very unfair...but we cannot sit in 21st Century and judge so easily wat is logical and wat is illogical thousands of years ago...Bcoz norms were different then... 😭

I think I have clearly mentioned that her manner was wrong. I hope people comment after reading everything carefully.
Ofcourse her manner was wrong...and Karna must have felt really hurt...
But it was not as intentional and 'namecalling' as it is made out to be...

Blaming Karna? I dont think I blamed Karna...
I was talking more about Draupadi...I did not even delve into Karna's actions.
But if you are addressing someone else...then it's another thing. 😕
