Mukut Hater is Vrishali of Star plus Mahabharata. Since she always used to give karna lecture on bad effects of the Mukut on his head (means his debt to duryodhan) so she was given name as Mukut Hater by MB forum members

Actually the two scenes between Karna and Bheeshma, wherein the latter stops his arrows symbolizes the basic fact that Bheeshma wouldn't allow Karna to fight in the war, till he is present.!

It just shows that Bheeshma would be a huge hindrance! Its nicely done.

And I think they can show the conflict once Karna grows up...bcoz not every conflict was because of caste.
There were personal issues as well...

Bheeshma's opposition to Karna was only due to the latter's blind support for Dury. Otherwise, Bheeshma knew who Karna really was, although it's unclear at what point in the story that was revealed to him by Vyasa/Narada. But now that you mention it, Bheeshma stopping Karna's arrows is nicely symbolic of his preventing Karna from participating in the war under him.

Another thing - like ⭐️+, this serial too loves sinking the wheels of Karna's chariot. It's happened twice already, w/ Karna having to remove the wheels.

Wonder whether these serial guys know about the reason Karna's wheel sank - the curse of the Brahmin cow owner whose cow was accidentally shot dead by Karna?

Bhishma did love Karna as a grandson...n wanted him to not take part in Duryodhan's plans...

And I also like Bhishma a lot... 😊

My fear is for Draupadi.She is my favourite n I am super sensitive about her...her malicious portrayal towards Karna during Swamvar on Star Plus still haunts me...The real Draupadi never spoke like that to Karna...nor did she do Shastraharan or monkey-calling... 😭
If that's how she was portrayed on Star Plus, then this is a show on Karna n this time she'll be the wife of the enemies...😭

Anyway...It would be really really unfair if they show Lord Krishna, Draupadi n Arjun as well as Bhishma as villains when they have already shown Kunti as snow-white...I actually like n symapathize with Kunti but it cannot be denied that she impacted Karna's life a lot...So if the CVs completely cover up for her mistakes n show them as her helplessness, despite her major role in Karna's life n show Bhishma, Drone n Draupadi as villains just bcoz they had verbal spat with Karna here n there...then it would be really really unfair... 😭

Can anybody give a brief update of today's episode ?

The episode starts where Vaishali asks Adiratha for a gold coin. Karna urges him to refuse, accusing Vaishali of having created that pit herself to trap them. Adirath overrules him and gives Vaishali the coin. Then Uchyasena and Vaishali's father (didn't name him here) appear along w/ other villagers, and welcome them. Vaishali's father greets Radha and recalls how her father helped his father in the past, and ordered Vaishali to prenipat Radha. Radha hugs Vaishali & kisses her on the forehead. Vaishali's father then tells Adirath that Vaishali & her friends would help carry their possessions to their home. He tells him that it was Vaishali who had laid that pit, and Karna looks vindicated 😆

After they leave, Vaishali asks her friends to carry those belongings, but they complain that those are too heavy. Karna & Shon offer to carry it for them in return for the reward of their share of the gold coin❓ One of Vaishali's friends tells Karna that Vaishali is a hard taskmaster, and usually stones them in the head. Just then, a stone from Vaishali's catapult hits him, and he flees. Karna & Shon carry the rest of their belongings, and Karna then asks Vaishali for their share.

Vaishali then says that they'd have to snatch it from her. Karna then starts chasing Vaishali all over the village, but she successfully outruns him 😆 Finally, Karna uses a sling to trip her, and catches the gold coin.

In Hastinapur, Shakuni & Gandhari are playing a game of dice and laughing, and a furious Dhritarashtra enters, angry at Gandhari for not delivering a baby in 18 months. Shakuni tries to defend her, but Dhritarashtra threatens to divorce Gandhari if she doesn't procreate and leaves. Shakuni tries to console Gandhari.

In the meantime, Vaishali's father tells Adirath about how life for the sutas was good under Pandu, but had deteriorated under Dhritarashtra. He describes how Shakuni is an evil influencce in Hastinapur. Adirath wonders why would a prince wanna damage the empire of his sister. He tells Adirath that he'd have to take permission from the village chief to work there. Karna is incredulous about that, but Vaishali's father justifies it.

Later, Adirath & Uchchyasena visit the chief to seek permission. However, the chief was the same army general that Shon had insulted, and so now wants his revenge, and refuses to let Adirath work there, and orders them to leave, despite Vidura's permission. As Adirath turns to leave, the chief stops them and tells them that he'd allow them to work if Adirath accepted punishment for Karna.

The punishment? There is a dry well where all offenders are dropped. Anybody came out of it alive was forgiven, but to this day, no one did. He tells them that if Adirath accepted this punishment for Karna, he'd be allowed to work.

Precap: Radha argues w/ Adirath and refuses to allow Karna to be sacrificed. She then runs all over to find Karna. But by the time she reaches Karna, Karna is dropped into the pit, much to the horror of Radha & Shon

I like the Karna-Vaishali interactions. Since this show is completely fictional, I'd like that to dominate the next few weeks - screw Hastinapur and events there. 😈

Vaishali is a brat, and where Karna is a bow champion, she's a catapult champion. Vrishasena should be something 😆
