Bigg boss is more manipulative in terms of trying to influence the public bcoz it is a form of popularity contest .. so they try making it more appealing and ppl in there become very plastic which i hate .. and all those wild card entries new member entries which i think gets very annoying ..

I have to agree with you...I've always been a Bigg Boss fan and yet I feel this show is much better than Bigg Boss in many ways. The meanness levels in BB5 were intolerable this year. I like the format of Survivor India and the idea that they have not messed with the basics and stayed away from excessive melodrama

As far as the concept goes: survivor >> Bigg Boss

Survivor USA is the BEST reality show ever. It s been running for like 12 years. THe show is fast paced. It s not boring. Great casting, great editing, great host, challenges are well shot... Bigg Boss is not even 5% of Survivor USA. If they tried Bigg Boss in USA, people would laugh at their fake dramas and production manipulations. No one would even bother to watch that show.

yeah agree ,big boss is way better and more entertaining 1oo times than survivor , in big boss we get to see a lots of things to get amused where as survivor does not show anything which keeps us amused , Name survivor itself suggests that it will feature appalling stunts but it features only horrendous... i would prefer to watch big boss and Man v/s Wild over Survivor...

Just watch Survivor USA and I m sure your opinion would change. Survivor India sucks, seriously. It s indeed boring. I hope it picks up later on because I had great expectation.

Lets see if they can improve cuz the concept is great but India screwed the execution.

I think Indians are too much protected and pampered by their parents. While americans allow their children to become independent from day one. No spoonfeeding. That reflects in shows like Surivvor.

Give them time. A rosebush cannot become a banyan tree overnight.

Under the circumstances, they are doing their best.

Let us encourage such shows.
