i know d reason lies in pak's victory othrwise sm ppl supportin ur views wud hv not been preachin peace now.

completely agree and glad to hv met you too.

no one could beat a combination of india/pakistan.
who knows. no one thought berlin wall will come
down, down it came.

no one thought south africa will abolish apartheid.
off it went.

no one thought china will become capitalist and
lead in trade. americans themselves buy chinese
goods in america.😆

no one thought usa will hv a president of african origin
for two terms consecutively that too; ho rahi hai.

sab kuch ho sakta hai. uparwaley chahe toh.

wow pakeezah I feel that we are sister souls. Loved reading you. felt as if I was writing it.
By the way I was in berlin when the wall came down and played a part in breaking it down and brought back a few pieces which were unfortunately thrown away by some workers when I moved home because they thought it was useless pathar and I was so heartbroken but at the same time wished I could be as simple-minded as them and treat things with such dispassion!!
Aapke muh mein ghee shakkar.
My Hindi is not that great since I am South Indian but I adore pakistani singers, I have met Ghulam Ali ji. had lunch with him once.
Freak out on Farida Khanum. Bhegum Akhtar Abida Parveen. Obviously Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. So as you can see I am anything but a Pakistan hater. I was just most distressed by whatever I read anytime I came on this forum and became so very petty.
Hope one day the seemingly impossible may come true and we all become true brothers and sisters again and may peace prevail. Ameen to that. Padma

he just won the trophy, but diljaan won the hearts...and its a show of "sur" not "versatality".and i think its a diplomatic decision because if diljaan wud won then pakistanis wud just say that judges are biased and this show's main motive was aman ki asha,so this has to happen...and i think nabeel is also a good singer but cannot touch the hearts of people by his voice...in coming days u will see Diljaan rocking in bollywood but not Nabeel(thanks to captain AA for crossing all the limits of rudeness and that also in front of bigggies like Ashaji, when its was only bollywood who gave him fame ).*********************...huge dissapointment because i used to think that atif aslam is good by heart...😕

Please avoid stereotyping.

wow. that must hv been a special moment near the berlin 'no longer' wall!
and meeting Ghulam Ali saab.

i loved what you wrote about being simple minded and dispassionate. it sounded
very buddhist lol! Non attachment?

too much attachment and feelings seem to cause most of the problems in the world
because proper judgement goes out the window then.

i get especially scared of crowds in the clutch of some strong destructive emotion
like at football/cricket games or a mass rally. the feelings are so strong that it
just takes a spark to ignite and explode.

your memories of the berlin wall are in an even safer place than those stones
the workers threw out,a place where they can never get lost - your heart.

take care
