I agree Atif sucked when he was singing with Asha ji. It was really bad singing. However his other songs are good. He can sing only one type of songs. He is not versatile. In a way he is just like HR who also doesnt one type of songs.

i agree with you. he should not sing any famous singer's song like kishore kumar. then easily someone can compare his calibre with a famous singer. he should sing only his original songs.

Yes I didnt see that other show too much but bit of what I saw was Mohit Chauhan being really insulted because he was the quiet classy one. And I also saw his team members not respecting him because of that.

So on these shows you have to be crass and abusive to "seem" intelligent. I can understand the producers of the show wanting all that nonsense for TRP but how about the judges? They are respected, well known and established people - do they need to show this really nonsensical behaviour? I can see Mika showing this behaviour becoz he is like that in real life also - like a rowdy from the street and to a certain extent Himesh because he thinks this is what is making him and adding to his credibility...I had sympathy for him before these shows thinking just becasue he looks funny and wants to be a hero along with his nasal voice people make fun of him, and I thought that was sad. He is a talented composer and his songs rock. But after seeing his judging I really dont like him and his arrogance at all.

And Asha ji? Mia you mentioned everybody was speaking against the Pakistanis and only Ashaji was being more vocal. And that exactly was my point...everyone was speaking only against the Pakistanis and personally where I am not an expert and only appreciating what my layman ear's can hear I found them really not to be so bad. Some of the INdian guys were bad too but nothing was said to them. And with Asha ji it is a well known fact that she does not like Atif she has been very vocal about that, but she should take her personal differences aside and even the feedback she gives can be honest but what is sad is that she is going the HImesh/Mika way and being very abrasive. I dont think a lady of that stature who is so very respected needs to stoop so low.
