The most the Captains do is to contribute names to TCT if they have someone in mind.

So, the script is meaningless.

Yeah that was known. These guys were all busy travelling for concerts. They went to some locations just for the few shots to be filmed 😄

Also the way them finding the talent was shown. No need for auditions, just travel in the city😆

Aruna is such a trained singer!
The issue is with her tonal quality. She sounds very masculine to me. Maybe she will do male or Sunidhi type songs in the competition.

Anyone know how teams were decided? Sad that samaira is not with arunita.

Most popular 1st round auditions were faiz, pranjal, harshita and mani.

On balance, Sayantani is a more trained singer than Samaira and completely untrained singers usually struggle in the long run unless they are blessed. So, Arunita will have a better chance of shaping Sayantani up for the tough competition ahead. But I would have loved her to train Samaira - it would have been so great to see what she could do with her. But Sayli is a good teacher I feel.
Teams are decided based on all Captains getting a chance to shine with their wards.
All Captains get at least one top talent - read medal winner.
Some contestants, like Aryananda, can go to any Captain. She is basically trained by Neeraj Kalkar's team - not the Captain. Same would be true for Aruna.
Some go based on duet fits. Faiz-Aru.
Some for scale fits: Salman-Mani.

Except Aryananda - Danish, I find the team distribution fine.

More likely a gimmick. But some do go the extra mile like Nitin in the last season.

Except for the chef kid, I'm fine with all the final selected kids. I don't want to sound mean but I just can't with that chef kid's voice 😔

I haven’t really read through all chat on this forum and so I don’t know what the general consensus is but somehow I didn’t like Aryananda as much. Hope she does better with episodes.

I think the boys have variety but somehow the girls don’t have that. Just the feel I got out of the audition rounds.
Indian idol 12 had a Sayli and SMP who were a bit more distinct than the others.
