O just read this idea on tumblr that how Lucifer, Cain and then Dean all were holding onto the lock and the key that could unleash the worst possible threat into the world. I mean the most evil people that humanity considered as threat and bad and whatever was actually consuming this torture so that the earth was protected from the darkness that is so powerful that God and his army of archangels had to fight so hard to stop.Evil containing evil and indirectly protecting the world from it.
Imagine that. I know how they have been killing humans and Luci wanted to destroy humanity but who the hell is going to save you from black smoke. Remember shadow and how difficult it was to fight it for the winchesters? If the writers have any iota of brain they are gonna use it.
I always believe they create real good and strong evil characters. They just don't really push themeselves to show how evil and dark it can be. I mean my mind is running everywhere with this darkness thingy. Its bloody awesome. But I had the same belief for leviathans and than Abandon. Instead characters who I least believe in turns out to be the smart evil ones. Like Metatron and Rowena. Like seriously, I know the writers are all for the nerd community but sometimes I want cool evil characters that scare the living shit out of you for a change. 😡 Not comic reliefs that just keeps annoying you and also to rub it on your face actually wins in the end. The writers must have been really bullied in school 😆
