Hey , that's not much !!! pretty affordable actually . I mean anyone who has a moderate salary ( I mean over 3000 $/month ) can easily save this money in 6 months . Quite cheap I should say . 😳

About them getting paid? or them getting paid for different things??

I have been following convention for years now have picked up things along the way I guess. Yeah it;s more like I did phd on this 😆 On that note do u guys know the people of Fangasm are actual professors who do researches on the fandom. They are coolest people I know and have the best job in the world 😳

Anyways as I was saying these conventions are not done by the network or people from the show. This is an independent and private event and nothing to do with the show so they have to sign contracts with the stars which also states the amount of money the guests will receive upon attending such events. I also fairly remember that they also get a percentage of the money the organiers receive from photo ops and autographs and other stuffs like M&G. Of course different guests get different payments for appearing.

I remember Jensen once issued a letter to the fandom when he had to cancel a con for Paris because he had differences with the organisers and he stated that he has returned all the money to the organisers so that fans do get their money refunded in a fair manner.

There were even issues with Jared when Asylum I guess didn't pay him or paid him less than Jensen or something. I did read somewhere that Jensen had a problem with how they treated Jared. I actually read about the whole thing in fan reports so it was a fan version so I don't know how true the whole incident was. But if they did treat Jared unfairly Jensen will surely have a problem 😆

Yeah I guess if u save for a year or so, u can afford the ticket. But everyone around me keeps complaining about that it gets too expensive for them. I guess with the ticket they have those photo ops and pvt m&gs and then travelling and lodging expenses so the cost goes pretty high.

I have seen people talk about how they are pretty much living on bread through that weekend to save up That makes me really sad but they keep saying it's all worth it. I guess the only logical thing is to save up properly for a year and then do it.

I follow , scratch that stalk the Fangasm people on the internet 🤣

They are so cool. I love reading their con experiences, interviews of the actors, and other crew members, and their views about the fandom. I mean I almost yell ' OMG THAT IS TOTALLY ME' in my mind.

I would love to read their books one day.

They are psychology professors right ? And now they write books about the fandom, and those books have been read by Jared, Robbie..Misha , Richard have written chapters for it. HOW COOL IS THAT.

Wow. All that is some news to me, I had no idea about how these conventions thing work and everything. I am so glad I found my two walking talking live in flesh wikipedia being, Pri and Sindhu! 🤗
