Well, hello boys and girls! 😎

^^As much I might hate Crowley, I had to kick start this off with greetings in his style because, well, he's Crowley and he greets and insults like a boss. Admitted, okay.

Starting off, does anyone know why was the episode named 'Black' because I, for one, could not understand the connection. 🤔 I am here more because of an obligation than excitement as I wanted the forum to rise from its dead state. You watch Supernatural peeps, you cannot stay dead for so long. 😳 The review's not going to be a very detailed one as I don't feel energetic enough to be able to write much. Anyhoo, the episode on the whole was a good one, pretty much a good start to the series. It raised more questions than it cared to answer but I won't complain as much since we just started off.

The Good.

1. Moose and King of Hell chit chat.

I would have stabbed Crowley if I could hadn't I enjoyed Sam fretting, getting agitated and feeling tormented for his brother's life. After a long time, I heard him talk like Dean's little brother. #proudfeelsmoment.

2. Brown code moment. 🤣

The Bad.

Writers, please pay attention to this. Nobody, at least not many in the fandom, I am sure does care about the angel story line. It just getting absurd and drier by the day that I personally have just stopped bothering about what would happen to the angels. Castiel is important to us, please fit him in the storyline sensibly. Show him hunt for his lost grace instead, that'd be waaay better than watching mindless angels roaming around the Earth having insightful conversations about human nature. 😳

The Unforgivable.

You do not use bitch-jerk moment on Dean and Crowley. 😳 YOU DO NOT. YOU JUST DO NOT. 😳 That's blasphemy of Dean-Sam's relationship. U n f o r g i v a b l e.

The 'Eh'.

You need to introduce new characters? Do it the better way, do it like you used to earlier on. This Cole or whoever guy caused more confusion than ever.

The Unsure

Demon Dean Development.

I was expecting a downright berserk, darker and evil Dean but it comes as a momentary respite that they didn't just jump the gun. They are going to go with the slow, gradual and torturous development of Demon Dean. Even though he's turned a demon himself, the anger, the frustation, the pain, all the burden Human Dean used to carry is still him. Its sorta like Demon Dean is trying his best to escape the Human Dean who seemingly is not dead, yet. And that is a good thing and I hope it remains so for a long time because its probably the only thing that'll keep Dean connected to his human side.

The 'Ouch'.

One cannot help but feel awful for Sam. I think the worst feeling he'd ever have to go through is that he doesn't know for sure if his brother whose always been his saviour and protector will turn up this time around to save him from the clutches of danger. No, not that he doesn't know. He's sure that Dean wouldn't turn up.

Prediction.

By the looks of the next episode's promo, guess my prediction about the next episode turned out right. You'll know what I mean when you watch it yourself. Go watch!

Oh and I'd be glad to hear your views. 😳

Crowley is fun to watch...
well as new epis has started I guess this forum will get active soon...
BLACK maybe a reference to demonized version of dean with black eyes OR that everyone( main characters) on the show is going through a dark/black phase of their life... Sam is torturing demons without mercy ,Cass is already in a bad shape,Crowley is still making attacks on dean in name of abadon,dean is dean+no mercy/ guilt

yea Sammy's I will save my brother chant definitely a worth it moment...

hmm not happy with angel storyline,me too..

agree on the dean is running fro his human side,he is trying his best ro run but yea I think its just a start for demonized version of dean,we will see his demon version as epi proceeds

True that, the episode certainly had me asking a lot of questions !

The Good - The King of the rotten rules ! gotta love the douche. I hope and pray that he doesn't get killed ! cause Sammy is gonna be pissed !

The bad - Angel drama ! Mehh ! -.-
ermm.. and Cas sounds so human outta the blue ! Love & Art?

about Jerk&Bitch ! Crowley is the new Sammy? -.- I mean, seriously? Mehh!

and Cole ! who the hell is this guy? and yeah, his beef with Dean could be real bad !

Demon Dean - Not as dark as i thought and hoped he'd be ! I am starting to have doubts on which Winchester is the darkest ! :/

So Crowley will apparently cure Cas by giving him Adina's grace? guessing Hanah gets to Adina ! I miss Angel Cas, he seems too vulnerable now somehow ! :/ I know it's the fading grace, but that boy needs some Angel juice in him pronto, don't like how freakishly human he sounded yesterday ! :/

Awesome post and can't agree more with you.

When the jerk-bitch moment happened I literally imagined that it didn't. I was super pissed. Like this moment is only for Sam and Dean. No one else!

And also the angel story-line seems a bit off-track or like a filler scene. I really don't get that part.

Really hoping the other episodes will be awesome.

For me today's episode was ok but not that good.

And then I just lost the flow here. But I'm in a good sort of mood because I am well fed, didn't go to school, my book just arrived and Downton Abbey got downloaded at last. So, I thought, let's go and edit this shit. Or make a new post.

I agree with all your points and especially with the titles you've allotted to each of the sections. I, for one, really disliked the bitch-jerk thing. It was absolutely unnecessary and I was sure, right there, that it's gonna hurt some feels around the fandom.

But I can take that.

What I couldn't take without tearing up just a little bit was the very last scene. 🐷

It was heartbreaking, and to think that Sam would know now that Dean just refused to come and help him - I'm sure I haven't seen a more hopeless and hurtful thing on the show. For, it's all about how Dean and Sam will die for each other. They're family and now, Dean's all demonic. Fact of the matter is, this season's theme does have content and it's become interesting now that we know that somehow, all the conflict inside human Dean is very much inside Deanmon, only more extreme. So, all I'm doing right now is wait for Wednesday, and hopefully, Dean will be saving Sam, seeing as he was beating the hunter guy to pulp in 10x2's promo.

So as today I am home and its raining and thus I have an excuse to not go shopping , lets do this.

I am going to save my brother, or die trying. - THIS has to be one of my favorite moments from the episode. For person who is really fond of Sam Winchester and is weary of seeing him care less about Dean at times in last few seasons. I know Dean is the best brother ANYONE can have. Period. But I also know that Sam would do to any lengths to save his brother too. [ plus Crowley's ' Me and Dean thought you hit another dog' line. DANG] This time it has to be Sam to cure/save his brother .

^I know its a review, but I HAD to rant SOMEWHERE :|

Back to the episode, the whole Castiel and angel story line is confusing. WHY is Metatron, scratch that Meta-douche even alive -_- .

Crowley, he has the BEST dialogues. Okay. I hate him, its impossible not to, But then he is also impressive. Arggg I cant explain , plus I really like Mark Shepperd's voice. Okay I am losing track here. Ofcorse he is a manipulative rottenhead & I want to just go kill him most of the times but there is no denying his awesomeness.

Dean, Demon Dean. Is it just me or just for a moment Dean reminded me of the first dew season, the more carefree Dean , with the devil-may-care attitude. Just for a moment, but still.. [ Dean- Crowley Foosball , plus one for that]

I like that they are taking the change from human Dean to demon Dean slow, and showing that there are still bits pieces of the Dean we know in him, which he is running away from, more specifically from Sam.

Sam, Okay i dont know what to say other than I feel hugely bad for him. But is it just me or anyone else feels that he fell into Cole's trap a bit too easily.

Cole, well lemme know his story before I can say anything about him.

P.S i loved the salesman 😆😆
