Pilot News: Supernatural Spin-
Off Taps Heroes Actress as
Shifter, Burn Notice Alum to Play
Cop
Supernatural: Tribes has cast its
female lead.
Danielle Savre ( Heroes ) will
portray shapeshifter Margo on The
CW's planted spin-off, TVLine has
confirmed.

Tribes is described as a sweeping
drama about the various mafia-
esque monster families that,
unbeknownst to humans, "run"
the underbelly of Chicago. These
families also are being tracked by
a newly-minted hunter who's
trying to stop them and rid
Chicago of anything or anyone
supernatural.
Margo serves as the acting head of
the leading shapeshifter clan.
She's an ex-punk rocker-turned-
corporate professional who feels
threatened only by the return of
her prodigal brother David (played
by Nathaniel Buzolic, The
Originals ).

Also joining the project is Stephen
Martines ( Burn Notice, The Closer )
as Detective Freddie Costa, a
world-weary Chicago cop who
serves as a mentor to Ennis
( Episodes' Lucien Laviscount) "
aka the newbie hunter " but also
is secretly on the payroll of one of
the monster families.
Savre and Martines will both
appear in this season's 20th
episode of Supernatural " aka
Tribes' de-facto pilot " airing
April 29.

CW's planted Supernatural spin-
off pilot has cast its final series
regular " and found a new name,
to boot.
Airing April 29 as an episode of
the long-running CW series,
Supernatural: Bloodlines (as it is
now known) portends to be a
sweeping drama about the mafia-
esque monster families that,
unknowingly to humans, "run" the
underbelly of Chicago and who are
being tracked by a newly minted
Hunter.
TVLine has learned that Melissa
Roxburgh has landed the final
series regular role of Violet
Durant, a member of a powerful
werewolf pack who hides her true
nature because of her forbidden
love for family rival David ( The
Originals Nathaniel Bozulic), a
shapeshifter.
Bloodlines other series regulars
are Danielle Savre ( Heroes ) as
shapeshifter Margo Hayden, Sean
Faris ( Pretty Little Liars) as
werewolf Julian Durant, Lucien
Laviscount ( Episodes, Skins ) as
police academy trainee/newly-
minted Hunter Ennis Roth and
Stephen Martines ( Burn Notice ) as
world-weary Chicago PD Detective
Freddie Costa.
Roxburgh previously has appeared
on The CW's Arrow (as a gal pal
of Thea's) and in the Season 7
Supernatural episode "Time After
Time."

N most importantly , SPN survived this long coz of Immensley talented actors
