Pandit brings Kapoor's marriage proposal to Oberois. With emotions bottled-up, Ambika agrees to go ahead with the proposal. At a meeting of the two families, Ambika tells Sameer about her past affair, and yet Sameer agrees to marry her. Back home, Kamini revels that she wants a 'hen that lays golden eggs' as a bahu.
