At a temple, Nikki asks Ambika to get married so in order to obviate all chances of Rahul and her ever coming together. Ranjeet agrees to look for the 'most ideal' groom for Ambika. Pandit brings Kapoor's marriage proposal to Oberois. With emotions bottled-up, Ambika agrees to go ahead with the proposal. At a meeting of the two families, Ambika tells Sameer about her past affair, and yet Sameer agrees to marry her. Back home, Kamini revels that she wants a 'hen that lays golden eggs' as a bahu.
