Sheeba doesn’t want to play bhabhi

Sheeba is back to acting on the small screen with Sujhata. She was last seen in Karishma, which had Karisma Kapoor in a pivotal role. Sheeba claims to have been getting offers after that but "My family was a priority then. Besides there was nothing interesting that I felt I wanted to do at that point of time." She, however, liked her role is Sujhata as it is "different from the usual. I took it up because I did not have to play the role of a mother or a bhabhi. In fact it's a story about strong women and their journey from their younger days till what they are today." Sheeba plays the role of Roshni, an interior decorator, who does not believe in marriage. She is a career oriented woman, strong, spirited and bright. Besides the serial, she is also working in a Bhojpuri film with Shatrughan Sinha and apparently is in talks with David Dhawan and Subhash Ghai for a Bollywood film.
