arch, you said it all. We're getting tired repeating this, and it's going to be a waste of time, because we've seen what happens.

Pankaj's suicide is quite expected, but what about hte aftermath? Will everyone pat his back and spout hollow reassurances for an episode before forgetting what--and who--drove him to it? Will they go back to detectivegiri and ignore the psychological fallout of what's been happening to him? Trying to commit suicide and failing can't be used as a wrap-up for his state. This whole scenario has long-term implications which will just get glossed over by some sudden breakthrough in the case. But that won't heal Pankaj, except maybe in serial land.

He won't leave the city, sri. That means the actor leaving the serial, and if that's the case, death is more dramatic.
Cvs need to give us satisfaction of seeing people who do bad things paying for them.
