i have a doubt of what ssel is about...

is it a love story or a Detective story or a Hate story?...

They show everything except yuvani's love...

first suhani was a detective then this snaky, i think next is yuvi's turn...

except suhani , yuvi(although confused) and a few, everyone show hatred

where is love?

they seemed to show everytime but ultimately not...

pls cvs , show love this time atleast...

oh!only yuvani and not kriya or dadi-snaky pair

Arg!!!!!! They are inspired by detective bomkashbakshi I think we had ask cvs or tripathiji for that???

Suhani Si Ek Ladki is a groundbreaking show, based sometime in the 1980's. It tells the story of Suhani, a slave girl sold by her father to the Birla family under the pretence of marriage (to get around all those pesky laws).

The family matriarch (Dadi) is disappointed with the colour and attitude of their slave girl, but won't raise her hands to beat her as, you know, it would be classified as work. Instead, she makes Suhani wear one pair of shoes for all occasions and a host of ugly suits.

Slave girl is given a new name (ay ladki), and a new kitchen to help her perform her tasks and has a new goal in life - To try and win the heart of her master-husband.

So far he has done a wonderful job of domesticating Suhani and her lower class ways, and he has also managed to save the marriage of his best friend, I mean, Suhani's best friend, Soumya.

The current track is very angst filled, it shows Suhani unwillingly signing her freedom papers and going back to her family in shame, along with the stray lawyer who forced her freedom upon her in the hopes of marrying her.

I very enjoyable look into the past - 10/10
