Ok, maybe Dumbo was too shocked by BQ's question and the tubelight took time to turn on. But to leave the scene without making it clear he's not ready to marry snaky makes no sense unless he IS considering it. A while back I was wondering if all our angst is pointless because it's actually meant to be yuvraj with snaky, which is what cvs seem to want us to wonder. The fallout maybe Su moving on, or a new triangle, with Su as the thorn in snaky's side. I mean, really, cvs seem to have such limited ideas, it's possible we're expected to continue watching while they play 'here we go 'round the mulberry bush".
And why on earth should a grown man--even if he acts like a teenager--be expected to justify his refusal to marry someone? Even if he once wanted to. It's again only believable in illogical serial land, and to me that's not acceptable. Happy to dump ssel rather than imply acceptance of the ongoing rubbish by continuing to watch.

Yes, he hasn't accepted his feelings for Suhani, so he won't present that as a reason to Dadi.

However, he can absolutely give the 2nd reason to Dadi. There is nothing stopping him from saying he is simply not interested in Soumya and doesn't want to marry her. 🥱🥱 It doesn't matter what Soumya thinks or how his signals have been interpreted, because a simple 'no' would suffice and him saying that she misinterpreted his friendly actions for love would be enough.

He doesn't need a 10 page long answer. It's all the more distressing, 'cause Dadi clearly asked him the question. She didn't try to hoodwink him into marrying Soumya (this time). She gave him a clear EXIT out of this situation.

I got to see the Dadi Yuvraj scene. I too felt he was shocked by Dadi's question. He did not expect dadi to ask him that so he was taken aback, kind of like stunned. And before he would get his bearings, he got a phone call so he took that & walk away talking on phone. CVs wanted to show yuvraj not answering that time to dadi hence the phone call.

@bold2- Ditto. The only thing he needs to say is 'no', nothing else. That is enough. He is a grown man and Dadi asked him a question he should have answered. Now, even if he says no, she will think it's his 'majboori'. 🥱

While I don't think Dadi would care about him wanting to stay married to Suhani, he himself can at least tell Dadi that he's not interested in Somu.🥱
