Suhani was on a bench a packet of samoosas next to her she closed her eyes wanting to stop the tears but couldn't help but want to at the same time. She wondered as to how she had lost herself in her love and at how she allowed her love instead of being her strength to be her weakness. She had been having a wonder day after what felt like ages she had gone to one of Aman's classes again to apologize to his students she had gotten them lots of sweets and chocolates and apologized to them. She was going to leave but they forced her to stay and in no time at all they were all her friends and she was thoroughly enjoyed herself so much so that when Aman asked her if she wanted to have lunch with him she had immediately said yes. As soon as she realized what she said she wanted to take it back but before she could Aman had told everyone that to celebrate new friendships he was taking them all out to lunch.
Everything was going well whilst they were at the restaurant until she was offered samoosas and she immediately said no and Aman and everyone else asked her if she didn't like samoosas. She was quite and put her head down and was relieved when Aman changed the topic and got the kids distracted after a while she looked up and was shocked to see that he had come and sat next to her and was staring at her. He took the samoosas of her plate and said she didn't need to eat the samoosas if she didn't like it and she grabbed his hand and said she loved them and put it back on her plate but didn't eat it. She felt his eyes on her questioning, wanting to know more but she sat silent and in a trance as she drifted off into another world thinking about Yuvraj and why she had given up eating them. She finally couldn't take it anymore and was about to leave when someone grabbed her hand and she turned back to see Aman he came closer to her and took her other hand and placed something in it and said that u should always get want u love and brought her hand up and she saw it was a take away packet and looked at him and he smiled and said samoosas. She removed her hands from his and she said not always and walked away.
She took a samoosas out and looked at it and wondered at how something so insignificant could cause her so much pain she had wanted to prove to him than that nothing was more important than him. But when had there been anyone more important to her than him, his family, his needs, his life, his wardrobe. She changed herself inside out just to fit into his family she might not have used dadi's skin whitening cream but was what she had done to herself any less than her using the cream. Had she not changed herself, the way she reacted to things, behaved, to her eating habits, to her life style, the thing she liked to do just for them. The worst part was that she he had never asked her to change for him she had done it all on her own and had only herself to blame, to please the people around her she had lost herself. She took a bite of her samoosas and then continued eating it and thought I don't love u as much as I thought I did and u not as important as I thought u where there is someone more important and someone I love more than you and that's myself. She finished all the samoosa's in the packet and as she put in the lat bit in her month said welcome back Suhani .
Aman was at the Birla house sitting room and he was bored out of his mind and wondered where Suhani was but more so how she had managed with these bunch of morons for so long they all looked like they belonged in the mental hospital. He had never seen such pathetic girls like the birla bahu's in his life the dizzy Barbie brainless cheerleader who didn't have a mind of her own, the mean girl who thought she was a beauty queen and the dadi who thought she was an ice berg. And let him not start on the future delusional bahu he couldn't understand why she couldn't take a hint anyone with half a brain could see that yuvraj did not want her near him but she continued to touch him, talk about their upcoming wedding. He almost felt sorry for the guy but couldn't understand for the life of him why he couldn't tell her to leave him alone it was obvious that he didn't like her at all and was uncomfortable by her advances. He had wanted to wait for Suhani to come but he couldn't take these superficial people anymore and told souyma that he would be leaving now she immediately understood what he meant thankfully and said she would be back.
Just than Suhani came in with a bunch of shopping packets in her hand looking amazingly happy he stood up and she said Aman u here and he said souyma actually requested him to come over to see and he stopped. Suhani immediately understood that he meant she called him to see Yuvraj and smiled and said that's goods while he looked down. Snaky walked in then carrying the painting screaming for Ramesh to help her Yuvraj went to her and took the painting out of her hands and Aman went to him and took it from his hand and gave him a cheque. I had actually agreed to come only on the condition that I get this painting back I had actually thought this painting was bought for someone else and was very happy that it was with her because it is quite special to me. I was shocked when I found out that the painting was with souyma I hope u don't mind the cheque is triple the amount that you paid for it and also for my next gallery u can have any painting you want for free and he turned leaving a shocked Yuvraj.
Suhani and everyone was shocked when Aman said that he had gotten the painting back to give it to her and she said no that she couldn't take it and he said keep it or don't keep it, it is yours to do what you want. They looked at each other and Suhani smiled and asked him if she could do anything she wanted with the painting and he smiled and said anything and she took the painting and walked past him and went to souyma. And said the reason I had wanted the painting was because it reminded me that every day is a new day, a new beginning and I had wanted u to know that to and handed her the painting. She looked at Yuvraj and than at her and said that whatever is meant to be yours will always be yours Souyma smirked and was gona take it back but Yuvraj told her to stop and told her not to that she had made an agreement with Aman and she should start learning to keep her word and walked off. The rest left as well and Suhani and Aman where alone and he said if she really didn't want the painting she could throw it away. Suhani smiled and said never and considering how much you must have paid for it I could never do that and she looked at it and said that its good that Souyma didn't take it it's a beautiful painting that she would never understand the depths of. And then she looked at him and asked him why and he said I wanted you to always remember me even when I am not around and smiled Suhani smiled back and said I would need a reminder, u kind of forgettable. Aman went closer to her and touched her forehead and said Suhani is that a joke u so not funny and they both smiled and then she looked at him seriously and said thank you for everything for the painting and for just letting me be. And then surprised him by hugging him he hugged her back and then she turned and left him staring at her as she went to her room.
That night Suhani was coming out of Ma's room and yuvraj out of no way came and grabbed her and took her to their room and locked their door. After the initial shock Suhani calmed down and asked him what he was doing and he turned angrily and asked her what exactly was she doing and did she forget that they were married? Suhani looked at him blankly and said unfortunately I did not forget that and he said if that is so than I expect you to give back that painting and not see him again. Suhani said I can't do that and he asked her why, who is he to you? Suhani was quiet for a few seconds as she thought of Aman and remembered all she had seen of him and then said he is a friend. Yuvraj smirked and said considering your previous choice in friends I think it's best if u listen to me and not see him again I don't like him. Suhani looked at him and went close to him and asked wasn't he your favorite painter and he said he was and I can change my mind on things and they both stared at each another and then Suhani stepped back. She walked to the door and he asked are you gona listen to me and she said no and opened the door and left leaving behind a very frustrated Yuvraj and she was shocked as she heard something break in his room. She wanted to go and check on him and it took all her will power but she went back to her room.
The next morning the Birla's where shocked when they went to eat and smelt the aroma from the kitchen and knew that Suhani must be cooking they all including dadi was terribly hungry for her food. But knew she must be just preparing for Pratima only and that souyma must have made her bland food and would serve it to them after Suhani left as had become routine since Pratima got sick. So they were shocked when Suhani came out with Ramesh and started serving them Anuj and Saurabh thought it was better to just start eating in case she decided to take the food away. Dadi stood up and asked her what was all this and she said breakfast and said actually I had made all your favorites because I wanted to say thank you. And dadi raised her ear brows and asked her for what and Suhani smiled and said 1 for putting me on a diet if it wasn't for you I would never have lost any weight and dadi said that true. Suhani smiled and said also for teaching me how to present things making it more beautiful and she looked at souyma and said thanks for showing me who my real friends are. But mostly thanks for telling me the truth atleast now I have my freedom back and she then shocked dadi and kissed her on the cheek and ran off laughing as she heard dadi say ah ladki. Everyone was amused by dadi and Suhani except for Yuvraj he had taken in everything from Suhani clothes, to her hair, to her makeup, to her shoes. She looked like how she did when they 1st met she was wearing jeans and a red kurta top except that she now had on light makeup on and her hair was in a pony tail but the thing that shocked him that she had not used her mangulsutra.
