now i think yuvraj was forced to marry suhani, so is not it natural that he should gather a large amount of frustration/dislike towards suhani? although suhani was innocent but it was she that was the caue of this marriage. then we saw after 2 months they were in love. i think it was rushed because it takes time to forget the past things and fall in love through interacting. i would believe that if it happened 1 year later. because nothing can stand infront of the onslaught of time and time ultimately heals everything.

I agree with you on the personal decision part. It is really tough to be pushed into a marriage that you don't want and carry on with it. Like you said, Suhani is a great girl but I would rather have Yuvraj realise that voluntarily than because he was forced into it. I can't imagine the kind of frustration he would have felt.

You are right about the time window part too, but I think that is a consequence of it being a daily soap. I think the CVs couldn't have continued with Yuvraj being ultra cold and rude to Suhani for an year because it would have turned viewers off. So, that's why they are taking the shorter route to love.

I think Yuvraj's problem was multifaceted. He got deceived by Soumya and she married Krishna so I think he gave up on that part of it. If anyone else was in Suhani's position, someone more liek the person Dadi wanted, it would still have been forced if her dad had done what Pankaj had made him do. I think what he was worried about post marriage was that she wouldn't meet Dadi's expectations look wise etc...but he himself never said that she's not good looking enough or asked her to change herself...eventually with time he realized that she's intelligent and capable of handling whatever comes her way and that set him at ease so he relaxed...and then he began to be attracted to her, naturally...and I don't think they spent so much time together that he had no choice but to fall in love with her...he could have escaped her and found love outside the home too...he was slowly drawn to her...and it's not just because of their proximity but of everyone's opinions of her too...everyone praises her his friends love her, his brothers & mom love her...and maybe he would have loved her before marriage too if he was MATURER...in those pre-marriage scenes he's like a diff guy...some young immature guy who's stuck in some imaginary shallow world...with his riches ..maybe he really did need a bit of a reality check...

So basically this close proximity is also due to his being drawn to something about her, some hope arising in his heart...the dark clouds clearing because otherwise there are plenty of ways he could escape her and just come back to their room at night to sleep and then disappear again in the morning.

@bold- He definitely had no external pressure on him once the loan was passed. Your conclusion that his problem is multifaceted is unequivocally right. Also, yes he never told Suhani about his feelings despite the lack of pressure. She is as much a victim of this scam as he was. Right now, he is kind of responsible for stringing her along as well. I think it's more of an internal battle now, although his mind knows what to do, his heart is against causing so much hurt and uproar in not only Suhani's life but also for everybody else. Kind of a given for someone who is Indian.

I agree with you that proximity is what was needed for their love story to blossom, but at the same time, if it would have been through an office or something like that, Yuvraj wouldn't have resented her so much. You are right though that the writers thought it was necessary for the story.

at least if they're separated...we will get to see the extent Yuvraj can go for her instead of just seeing her do it all the time... also I think they need to have a jealousy track for Yuvraj. Suhani is going to have to deal with the fact that he loved her best friend once (though I still contend that it wasn't true love) and she wants him now...yuck...and nothing can compare to the pain of this but maybe they CAN show her working somewhere and her boss perhaps not knowing she's married and developing feelings for her...trying to ask her out...and bring Yuvi into the picture and see how he deals with his wife getting courted. This relationship now needs balance which will be attained once they are separated

For the story line I think it was needed this show is all about beauty vs heart. Yuvraj the great was an egotistical son of bitch in that 1st episode and he needed something to bring him back to earth and souyma and pankaj did that and suhani made him realize its not that bad being on earth lol. I think as some1 mentioned pratima was worried about him coz she knows he is a good guy bt somehow he has been too influenced by the mentality of dadi. She didn't want her son to be ruled by money and beauty she wanted him to be real, to have real r/ships to know what is really important and most probably have the sort of r/ship with a person that she and her husband had and that her other 2 sons would never have with their wifes. And somehow when she saw yuvani together she knew that they would be perfect together. I dnt know I kind of like these forced marriages i know its more natural to have the love marriage they just boring half the time to me bt watching 2 very diff ppl gel together as strangers is kind of hot and more romantic lol. Bt coming specifically to yuvraj he did not see suhani at all in the beginning and he needed to see to her alone, to judge her and see what she really was about. I am not saying that if souyma was still positive that she would outshine suhani bt coz he fell for her suhani had no chance and that is the way it should be if some1 is in love. But souyma didn't love him and more so I think even if suhani and him had met afterward their engagement was cancelled and he eventually fell for her it would have been kind of boring not that yuvani would ever be boring bt I kind of like hw their story is going I just hate snaky. Quite frankly the only thing that was forced was the marriage everything after that hasn't not been forced watching them was like watching 2 strangers getting to know each another and getting comfortable. He didn't need to be nice to her, he didn't have to get close to her, he could have continued his plan to ruin her after the marriage which he forgot after 2 days lol. Bt he not only went closer to her his every decision became about her. Yes he didn't want her in his life, he didn't want her on his bed, touching his clothes or messing with his credit card bt somehow his life still revolved around her. She messed up his organized life and will always continue to do that. Bt most importantly battles that she could have managed on her own in the beginning he stood by her like a rock and protected her and he didn't have to it wasn't as if pankaj was around 24/7. And even though he went mad once in a while there has always been something about suhani that just made him stop and listen to her words and be surprised at the way she saw things, the way she reacted to situations, her intelligence, kindness, her capability to forgive(which really has changed him), her ability to just captivate an audience makes him very proud to be by her side coz she wins ppl over. But as yanks said there is no balance in their r/ship at the moment suhani brings the warmth, emotion and love. She goes all out for him she adores him to bits. And the amazing thing about her feelings and the way she is to him is that he actually loves her behavior I think she makes him feel very special. Bt at the same time he is kind of used to girls showing their adoration to him coz he is hot and so he is a very cool cucumber when she behaves with him like that most times. Bt this needs to change he needs to realize that he is in fact not the dream guy that suhani would have probably wanted bt she somehow fell for him and so accepted him with his flaws. Suhani's dream guy is some1 like her simplicity, fun, open, crazy, romantic, kind and most of these things dnt really go with yuvraj most times. And so we need to see her have the perfect guy who she truly dreamt about and who will go all out for her bt still at the end she still chooses yuvi. I would so love a hot perfect guy being brought to the show for suhani some1 totally into her it could like salman character Aman in kuch kuch hota hai. Bt the only problem with that is that we might have a problem where fans might actually like the new guy more coz rajshri has amazing chemistry with every1 so most like if she is paired opposite some1 new it would be the same. So maybe they can make the future guy obsessed with suhani and yuvraj protects her bt not rishi that guy is just creepy

It was forced for the plot although he should have made more of a fuss to break it off sooner rather than wait till the last moment.

I think the marriage was required for the storyline, though t was not right that Yuvraj was allegedly forced into it. But thinking logically, why did he give in to Pankaj's blackmail? He could have complained that he was being coerced to do this in lieu of the loan being passed, and for a Birla, especially an arrogant guy, that would have been the logical option. He had no feelings for Suhani, so why didn't speak up? Yes, very often one goes along with something thinking it can be fixed later, but getting married to someone? Sorry, my knowledge of that is kind of sketchy, since I didn't watch any of those episodes, just kept up by reading WUs from time to time.
For the storyline the marriage becomes necessary because there wasn't much probability that Yuvraj would see Suhani as he is beginning to now if it weren't for the daily interactions, which is difficult to bring about in other circumstances.
While I agree in some aspects with Clarity, Ada, Yanks, Elita, I'm in no hurry for Yuvraj to go mushy over Suhani. They make a nice couple and have some chemistry, and it should be a slow build--just my opinion. Can get very boring once love has been expressed and sexual tension removed (not that they seem to feel much...) .

I think it was required for the storyline. Yuvraj and Sharad both didn't really like Suhani and made fun of her behind her back all the time. Yuvraj would not have given Suhani the time of day had it not been for trying to get to Souyma via Suhani. Had they not been forced to be married then he would not have had any reason to interact with Suhani at all as Souyma tied the knot with Krishna before their marriage (actually I think just before the engagement). Because of this I think it was necessary for the storyline. Had the marriage not taken place, there would have been no reason for their paths to cross again, thereby not allowing for them to fall in love prior to marriage.

Having said all that, I think it would have been great if they had been able to fall in love 1st, without any lying, blackmailing or deceit...

I think at first CVs had a different story. Like yuvraj likes sowmya but he is emotionally attached to suhani. Sowmya in secret relationship with krishna. In this story sowmya would have been grey character, a girl who goes to any extend to save her love n lover. It is different concept but they didnt get TRPs. So they twisted the story and made them marry first. How?? by forcing and deceiving the unwilling one.

The story was not progressing at all before marriage. I think once the relationships between Sowmya and Krishna, Yuvraj and Sowmya was established, the CVs did not know how to proceed further.

Making Yuvraj fall for Suhani instead with constant interactions would have been best but even with constant interactions, Yuvraj seemed to completely ignore Suhani when Sowmya was around and the CVs decided to break this streak by getting Yuvraj and Suhani married instead😉

What I did not like was the reason given. We were never shown Sowmya's love story, so it was hard to understand why she fell for Krishna, just like Yuvraj..
And the worst part was Suhani's father. This guy was shown so sensible and level headed, more like Suhani's anchor and then they go and show him do a blackmail when it was so short sighted🥱

Instead I would have preferred Yuvraj himself getting into the marriage with Suhani, without love.. Perhaps the jealous angle they worked out with Sowmya after marriage could have been done before. It would have been great to see Yuvraj grovel for forgiveness then😳 Now, the sod has good reasons to give and it kinda takes the cherry atop the cake😕😆

BtW, I realize that I should have opted for No, he should not have got married like this.. 😉
