Part 5

The next morning after having breakfast Yuvraj and Suhani got ready to leave. They walked to the door and Suhani paused Let's go Suhani, everyone is waiting for us at home' Yuvraj stated. Suhani looked at Yuvraj with sad eyes and calmly said Yuvraj, I can't come back to the Birla house with you.' Yuvraj froze, staring in shock and disbelief. Was she leaving him? He couldn't believe the day he had wished for so long was finally here. But on hearing those words he felt no happiness. It just hurt. He knew she was hurting but didn't think she would decide so quickly on their fate.

Pankajji spoke up Suhani beta you can stay here as long as you want'. Suhani shook her head. Nahi papa, I won't stay here either. I need time alone to think and I can't do it here'

Beta, please you are not well please just stay with us so we know you are alright' Lataji piped up.

Suhani where will you go?' Yuvraj questioned. Please Yuvraj, I need space and I assure you I can take care of myself' Yuvraj didn't want to stress her out anymore as the doctor had said to keep her calm. Yuvraj agreed to drop her off wherever she asked. He nodded at Pankajji and Lataji to acknowledge he would let them know the details and he would ensure she was ok.

Yuvraj dropped her off at the old age home as Suhani requested. Suhani, I can stay with you if you like?' Yuvraj offered. No, Yuvraj I need time alone' Suhani explained. Yuvraj accepted her reasoning and drove back to the Birla house. On returning to the Birla house Pratima asked her son Didn't Suhani come home with you?' Nahi maa, she needed space and time to think' Pratima felt dejected. She had always known that Suhani would have been perfect for her son she had the ability to teach him the true meaning of love and relationships. She knew that she was somehow responsible for all of the drama with the mix-up of names, but she had fully accepted her as her daughter in-law.

Rags, Meneka and Dadi were elated with the news that Suhani wasn't returning. Finally one day of peace and quiet in my home and I don't have to look at the eyesore. Thanks to Krishna for the drama, the truth is finally out and she will leave my dear Yuvraj forever and then we can get him married to a girl who is suitable for him and this family' Dadi announced in front of Rags and Meneka.

Yuvraj just went to his room and Sharad followed. How is Suhani bhabhi holding up? You have told her you love her right and this whole mix up is not relevant now? The feelings you felt you had for Soumya were just infatuation. Did you tell her or not?' Sharad spoke in hast.

Yuvraj now agitated Sharad how many times do I have to tell you, I don't love Suhani. I just feel bad for her as she is a victim in this as much as I am. I hate she is in pain as a friend and companion' Yuvraj sits on the bed with his head in his hands. Sharad smirks and responds So you don't care if Suhani never comes home?' Yuvraj suddenly looks up and a glint of panic runs through his eyes. He never thought about it. He though perhaps she would take some time to think it over, be mad, anger, upset, cry, but eventually she would come home. But what if she didn't? What if she never came back? The thought haunted him. But what confused him about this was that this is what he had always wanted so why now not having her around was causing him so much grief.

Sharad left the room and left Yuvraj alone with his thoughts. Yuvraj didn't want to entertain the thought that perhaps he had started to develop feelings for Suhani, it was impossible, wasn't it? She was completely opposite to him. Everything about her style, the way she carried herself and spoke, it wasn't his type. But they say opposites attract, but they are polar opposites. But Suhani wasn't all bad and she had a good heart and she meant well even though things never worked out that way for her. She cared about his family and made sure everyone was included especially Sharad, even if it meant she would get scolded by Dadi. With all these thoughts about Suhani, Yuvraj fell asleep.

He woke suddenly realising it was midday and that he had to speak to Suhani, he didn't even get ready but just rushed out the door as he didn't want to waste anytime. Getting to the old age home he finds out that Suhani has already left and she mentioned she was going to go to Lover lookout point. He got into his car and drove like a maniac to the lookout point. He arrives to see at the distance that Suhani is there on the edge. He calls out to her no reply. He desperately runs towards her he screams out again SUHANI!' this time his voice reaches her. She turns arounds, he can tell she has been crying. He yells out again Suhani I LOVE YOU, I'm sorry, please come home' A small smile appears on Suhani's face. Yuvraj goes to take a step forward as does Suhani, but her foot slips and she falls backwards off the edge. SUHANI!!!!!!!'

Yuvraj awaken suddenly in a pool of sweat, his heart beating erratically and in a panicked state. He realises that he is in bed and this was just a dream or more so a nightmare. What did his dream mean? Was it an indication of what was to come? He never believed in any of the rubbish before but everything in the dream was so real. He hoped this was just due to drama and stress and his mind was being overactive. He looked at his phone. Suhani had sent a message. She had asked him to meet him at a caf close by. He quickly went to get ready so he could be there on time.

Damn this traffic' Yuvraj cursed. At this rate he was going to be late and didn't want to upset Suhani anymore then she was already. He messaged her that he was struck in traffic.

Suhani had decided that the right thing to do was to give Yuvraj his freedom. He had been forced into this relationship and no matter how much she loved him that would never change his feelings for her. She wanted him to be happy and that's all that mattered to her. Suhani was lost in her thoughts when a couple of young guys came and sat at her table. Hey black beauty who are you waiting for? Blind date? Otherwise there is not man alive who would look at you and select you with his eyes open' HAHAHAHA they all laughed.

PUNCH, out of nowhere Yuvraj appears and punches the guy in the face. Watch your mouth, this is my wife you are speaking to Mrs Suhani Yuvraj Birla' He went for another swing, but Suhani stopped him. I'm not going to let these miscreants get away with this' The guys run away and Yuvraj calls the manager of the caf Is this the kind of customers you allow into your caf that harass woman. This is disgusting and this place should be shut down' Yuvraj demands. The manager apologies and Suhani asks Yuvraj to calm down and that she is not concerned with idle remarks. Yuvraj was still fuming how dare they speak to his wife, HIS being the operative word.

Yuvraj looked at Suhani. She smiled a small smile back at him. He never realised how radiant her smile was. Seeing her smile made him want to smile back. Looking at her eyes was like looking through glass, can clearly see how she is feeling. Finally Suhani Spoke Yuvraj, I want to apologies on behalf of papa. What he did was wrong and he should not have forced you into marrying me. Yuvraj I love you, but that doesn't mean you have to love me too and I know the circumstances of how we are married now and it's not fair for you the bear the burden of an unwanted relationship' she paused checking his reaction.

Yuvraj was shocked, the same feeling of dread that he had this morning, the feeling of loosing something or rather someone dear to him was rushing back with vengeance.

Suhani continued I will always love you, but that is not enough for me and I want you to be happy and find someone you can love. I think the best thing for us is to separate and live our own lives' a tear slipped from her eye.

Yuvraj being speechless, just stared blankly as Suhani. Yuvraj, please take me to the Birla house so I can say bye to everyone and get my things'. Yuvraj just nodded silently. His world was shattering around him. He never thought Suhani saying she would leave him would give him so much pain. He started to recount how much he had changed since he married Suhani and as he went through the moments up to today he realise one thing he LOVED her. He loved his wife, Suhani Yuvraj Birla. He doesn't know how of when he did, but he knows that he loves her and he isn't going to let her leave his life so easily. After all he is Yuvraj Birla and he now had to do whatever it takes to win over his wife, his life, Suhani.

Can't stand dadi she so disgusting the way she treat suhani coz of her colour, sum1 need to put her in her place, colour and pretty face are not perfect it what in the heart.
