The GA at the side has lost its purpose. Either the GA topics should be flashing or they should occupy the center to catch the eyes. On the sides, they do neither and seemed totally sidelined.

Important links like COC, Help, IF Dev Team etc, is allotted one tiny corner at the bottom which often can miss the eyes especially that of newcomers.

GD forums has been given too much of space while the main crowd puller – the popular TV shows looks all haphazard.

The active member list is missing and is definitely a put off as that often helps many to know who is online .Especially when a GM is required to tackle a situation that page can give an idea which one to contact.

The new homepage has lost the welcome touch and it looks more like other sites. The unique identity of IF is lost. It looks less user-friendly.

Well, I must concur with advil's points here.. I felt sort of disconnected from the newly designed layout. Again, what sets I-F apart from other forums (which by the way are trying to look like I-F with each passing day 😆😆) is the fact that as soon as you come over I-F, you exactly know where to go for browsing shows n stuff.. The current layout is very homely and comforting to the eyes.. U dont have to look around much to find links n stuff..So its user-friendly nature sets it apart from other websites & forums.. Moreover, Its not only "the most active shows" that are listed, but in fact all prominent shows of a particular channel are a click away.. The new one is highlighting the active shows more and that can be quite frustrating and irritating for members of other forums who would have scroll the list to reach to their favorite section.. Unless all the shows of a channel are to be linked underneath each channel..

Moreover, the child safety thing has been given way too much space.. Is there a way it can sort of come towards the right side of the page in a table format.. Or sort of like flashing text that tells visitors that this site is child-safe and for further info, they could click on the flashing text? I also think flashing a text will attract a viewer's attention more rather than a banner..

I like the design starting from the I-F logo and India-forums.. The logo is nice.. Actually sort of a symbol of diversity.. Yes, we all know that the major discussions that go around this forum pertain with indian entertainment but then there are other shows like pakistani shows and tamil shows, etc discussed as well.. So diversity and multiculturalism should definitely be advocated by our forum, which the new logo symbolizes in an excellent manner.. So I've got no qualms with that..

Video Upload section in blue.. Way too much space has been allotted to it. Its wasting of space if u ask me.. Might I suggest keeping it limited to the header where home, bollywood, Tellybuzz, etc links are given? Also, perhaps exchanging the bollywood News with the GA section... If that advertisement is removed, then the top Bollywood News can be at the right hand side of the page with more space... And GAs can take its place along with Telly Buzz News..

Btw, if u are sticking with the new logo, I would urge to use the green color of the I-F logo somewhere on the new layout too so that all colors are represented in the page.. it seems like more focus is on blue shades and reds there.. Just a thought 😛~

Change is good.. But I just hope that it is accessible and homely too. Hope our suggestions can drive your team to come up with an even better and kick-@$$ version of the layout .. Best of Luck 👍🏼~

Totally agree with you Sana sis and Adi, the current layout is very user friendly and browsing through is much easier, yes Vijay, the new layout is great as well and the features looks more of a modern and techno like, which is great in a way but I think too many sites are going like that. The layout right now is what sets I-F greatly apart from many other forums.

I too feel we can still go for a change though it should also be homely and besides it should also attracts more users as well.😳 Even though you have done a splendid job on the new one👏

1) I like the logo and color......
2)its takin a lot of space for Childsafe mess...
3)Its ez to see all the links rite now.....but in the new one its harder
