New Layout for IF - Feedback required - Page 8

I liked the new layout for most part!👏

It looks more modern and techno, but agree with tukz_REmix about the color-combo. A few bright colors make it more appealing and it just feels nice and warm and friendly! 😳

Again, the child-safe logo, it could be a bit smaller. I know most sites have these on top, but the logo is taking up a lot of spcae, and we get to see less of the actual site content without actually scrolling down. Could the logo be as big as the ad-banner we have on the home page of IF right now?

The logo...it seems really well, ordinary. Maybe a slightly more unique logo. Perhaps something which has more about what IF is, like a discussion forum, rather than just a social-networking site. Like maybe have "India Forums" written inside a TV set or have a TV set somehwere near the wording, since IF is primarily about discussion on TV shows. Or maybe have a TV along with the GD topics of interest inside the set. I dunno, but something unique and different.

The GAs, which almost everyone has mentioned. They should be more prominent, which is why they were made GAs.

The names of the Dev Team members who are online should be out their somehwere. Not all the members, but at least the Dev Team, because if anyone needs help, then they can contact a mod immediately, especially for the newbies.

That's it I guess, otherwise the layout's great!! 😳 👏

2 be very honest iliked the current 1 as its more easy.... n the new 1 is just om...i hope Sir u dont mind...but i have seen so many other forums like that, n i thin I F layout should b unique not just like other foruims.... the current 1 show IF unique!😃 but if u wanna add some changes ...change the colour of it or add something 2 it... but donte change thisl ayout!...its only my opinion!😊

Again, what sets I-F apart from other forums (which by the way are trying to look like I-F with each passing day 😆😆) is the fact that as soon as you come over I-F, you exactly know where to go for browsing shows n stuff.. The current layout is very homely and comforting to the eyes.. U dont have to look around much to find links n stuff..So its user-friendly nature sets it apart from other websites & forums.. Moreover, Its not only "the most active shows" that are listed, but in fact all prominent shows of a particular channel are a click away.. The new one is highlighting the active shows more and that can be quite frustrating and irritating for members of other forums who would have scroll the list to reach to their favorite section.. Unless all the shows of a channel are to be linked underneath each channel..

agree with these points...IF is for TV buffs but its disappointing to see so much attention being paid to bollywood in the new layout. we already have too much info on bollywood and too many forums on them. plz retain the focus of IF TV related stuff and discussions.

frankly i dont mind not seeing my name on the forum's main page but it will be nice to see the names of all the dev team members who are online...esp if they show up against the forums they manage.

It looks like the other websyt where they have the same-ish things to IF..😕😆

Thanks a lot..👏 By the way what about a To DO List..??
I mean as we all know many dev team members are very busy handling sections and all that and sometime we have stuff to do and then suddenly we forget, As if members have some questions and we tell to wait then we suddenly forget it, then maybe a to do list will help..😳
