BTW, we are aware of a glitch which is showing Public Forums in the Private forums section on the Forums index page.

We would be resolving that in our next update.

I'm glad it's a glitch and not intentional or connected to the "Rediscover the Power of the Forum Follow Button" effort.

1. Now that we can tag 25 members per forum post, could the limit for Wall posts (currently 10 tags) also be increased?

2. Could we also tag members when we Comment and Reply on Wall posts?

3. Could the number of links per Wall post be increased, and could links be enabled in Comments and Replies?

Unable to login from Mobile phone, keep getting a gateway error that says:

Host Error: accounts.indiaforums.com

How can spam accounts post in private forums?

If the private forum is Auto-Join, spammers can join and post like everyone else.

The private forum's members should have the option to receive a notification every time a new topic is posted (similar to Following a public forum). With this feature, spam topics might be reported to the Creator/Manager and deleted promptly.

This forum in question is not an auto-join. It is an approval based forum.

For the record, you are welcome in the "private" forum created by me, given your interest in the Saṃskṛta language. Unblocking me is not a prerequisite for membership.

It's good to see that the lists of private forums no longer list public forums. Now, please let links to private forums display the Join or Request Join button as they used to.

Even though my forum is Auto-Join, someone sent me a PM request yesterday, probably because she couldn't find the button.

Dear Swathi , the present set of emoticons were added after extensive discussions and debates between all Development Team members .

Some emoticons like thumbs down etc were kept aside purposely.

How ever there is always scope for changes and updates in all areas .

Thanks for your suggestion. Member's suggestions are always considered by our Admin n the technical team.

We will surely consider it next time while updating emoticons.

In the post/edit page, can you restore the option of colored fonts? Sometimes, I copy things from other sites, like Espncricinfo, and the result is a grey on grey, or something like it. It would help to have the option to select text and at least restore it to a default black on white, or vice versa format, as opposed to what it is now
