Thanks for this effort, and I look forward to reading more stories from long ago.

However, one reason not to migrate stories en masse right now is that when forum topic Reactions get migrated into Fan Fiction section Likes, they all turn into AWESOME! Corresponding migration would make more sense: Like = NICE, Love = LOVED, Wow = AWESOME!, Haha = LOL, Shock = OMG, Sad = CRY, Angry = ANGRY (instead of FAIL). I made this suggestion several months ago, and repeated it when the new Suggestions/Comments thread opened.

I would like to add to your point #3: when a reader follows your story, it appears on that reader's profile under Fan Fiction: Library, so that anyone browsing the reader's profile can discover your story. As a reader, you can use your Library to advertise stories that you enjoyed, even if they're Completed.

Example: I wrote a one-shot that was just ten words, and even that story got added to someone's Library.

I would like to add to your point #6: you can tag your story with up to three Entity Tags so that it appears in three different forums.

Example: I have a story that is a crossover of a Bengali show and a Panjabi show into a Marathi show. I tagged it with Marathi TV and Bengali Channel, and whenever India Forums opens a forum for Zee Punjabi, I can add that tag too.

I would like to add to your point #7: one unique feature of the FF section is the book covers!

I hope the technical team will act on this suggestion that I've made repeatedly: Notifications that someone Liked a chapter should tell us what type of Like it was.

When a post is edited by someone other than the author, India Forums automatically adds an "Edited by ___" footnote. Please do the same when a post is moved without the author's consent: "Moved to this topic by ___ ."

Otherwise, it looks like the post's author is spamming, when it's actually a misunderstanding created by the DT.

This trick was played on me this time, but once it catches on, it could be done by other DT members to provoke backlash against other ordinary users of India Forums.

You post was removed because it was more site issue related stuff and it is aapropriate to post it here rather than in that thread. Site issue thread is constantly monitored by the technical team. Also, it is clearly mentioned that if you have any queries you can contact the ffes, but then when have you actually followed the instruction given you development team? Anyways, you post correctly belongs here, hence it is moved.

No, as anyone could clearly read, my post is to add to your praise for the Fan Fiction section, and it links to where I already posted about site issues in this topic.

FFEditors are only in charge of the FF section. There is no question of contacting you about a post in the main forum being moved from one topic to another.

However, if you wanted any technical issue that I had raised months ago to be addressed, you are free to post about it too. Moving my post will not accomplish anything. You have power; try using it constructively.

thanks for praising it still your post was more about the issues about migration and what changes needs to be done. The post is about ff section and other forums of IF. So, when it is about ffs regarding any section fan fiction development team has the right to intervene as it is Co related. I hope I have made myself pretty clear about it now. And hope that you will post your issues in relvevent thread. Thank you
