Well I’ve been trailed and stalked and have had personal information I made the mistake of sharing online, thrown back at me via MULTIPLE fake IDs.. Obv behind those IDs is someoen is an old forum member.. who is loser enough to keep tabs on what I said…

This is called abuse and stalking and you don’t get to tell me to feel otherwise…

I personally think there is no concrete way to stop people from making fake ID to spread hatred and nonsense…

Best bet is to ignore them cause these losers thrive on attention, but I also know it’s hard to ignore them these losers have been stalking you enough to gather info about you that might trigger you into giving a reply…

Asking people to give social security number to make a social media account is not possible… people won’t even be ok with giving phone numbers.. just imagine if one of these psycho loser coward IDs got a hold of the number how batshit crazy these people would get…

only way is to prevent new IDs from sending DMs and posting on wall.. other than that I don’t think it’s possible to prevent them from new ID and commenting…

One thing would be to take a break from IF cause mental health over anything… but thid I can tell you from experience, they won’t stop…. Even if you come back after 4 weeks these cockroaches will still be there to pounce on you.. better to develop a thicker skin and know that these unloved losers have nothing else going on in their lives that they need to make MIDs to trail you…

also try to make sure you don’t use similar/same user name on other social media accounts (especially Twitter)

These things will definitely follow you there as well.

I wish you strength and I hope these MID get well soon as well… they need medical intervention at this point

Cyber bullying is very much here . when I post on topics , d trolls n bullies comes out n keeps trolling since long time like a broken record . they keep spreading hate in guise of bw n they keep attacking , harass me for decoding their modus operandi . irony those bullies act innocent n lecture here . here sar tan se juda/violence is encouraged .I reject d negativity n they can’t stop me from posting .

You don’t get to decide what is abuse and what is petty nonsense.

I believe that person is someone else. They attacked my ethnicity few months ago because I made a post on some political thread which was weird because I rarely ever post on religious or political threads. If my suspicion is not wrong, that person’s “regular” ID doesn’t post anymore. I did email a moderator about my suspicions back then. Wonder if they got warned this stopped being active. Who knows.

just some comments on the discussion so far:

it's terrible to be stalked like that. My sympathies with grumpy here. That said,

i don't get this business of MIDs and people talking as if their IDs are the real deal. Afaiac, every ID is a virtual ID. So much of the virtual stuff is based on make belief anyway- every second person in the online world is beautiful and is a sachai ki murti. Fake stuff, one way or the other, so why get up so het up whether it's a new ID or some other ID. Deal with every ID and their content on their own.

also, asking for phone numbers would be the most cuckoo thing ever. It would kill the forum. Boss, some of us come here to have fun engaging in light/ heavy discussion, while maintaining our anonymity. I can just imagine people hitting us for dosh or sending us chatty messages once they have our numbers. Just wouldn't be nice.
