Hi , can you do something about the ads which says that "so and so have met with some accident/person has congenital deformity , pls help them". Initially these ads appeared at the end of each page in the thread , but now I'm seeing it under every post....i do feel sorry for the persons who are actually undergoing all of this but all of the pics in those ads are tio gory and I'm unable to take it in...if you can't remove those ads atleast blur the pics cause it's really too depressing and disturbing to see it in every page of the forum....is everyone facing this or am i the only one?

PS; I'm sorry if i sound like a monster for asking to remove the donation ads but i come across those ads more than 50 times in this site....it's really disturbing...

Once you click on that it shows a Button saying "Stop Seeing This Ad". Hopefully it should prevent that particular banner / advertiser from showing ad to you.

I tried that once but the ad still keeps popping up frequently that's why i posted in this thread...

The Latest Topics display for some Entity Tags doesn't actually display the latest topic activity. When there is active discussion of an Entity and it's invisible on the main page for that Entity, that must be bad for business.

I just created a poll topic, and it appears at the top of the non-pinned topics in the Forum of a show. Good. It also appears at the top of the Latest Topics for the actor's Entity tag. Also good.

However, going to the page for that show's Entity tag, the poll doesn't appear under Latest Topics because that list is clogged with pinned topics that haven't been updated in several months. Anyone who visits the page would think that no one posts anymore, and so there's no reason to peek at the forum.

I suggest that pinned topics should only be at the top of Forum pages, not occupying Entity tag pages where actual Latest Topics belong.

I feel the exact same way about these ads. You don’t need to feel guilty about not wanting to see a disfigured face looking at you everywhere.

The ads are really disturbing and full of gory images. It’s not a pleasant user experience at all on this site, because the ads consume more than half the space and are relentless. Closing them does nothing.

I donated once through Ketto and haven’t been spared from their advertising since. It’s manipulative to fill people’s internet with disturbing images that can be really triggering without their consent.

I once brought this issue up in this site, but nothing was done about it. No one seems to understand how horrible it is to experience the triggering images everywhere on the site. Manipulative advertising at its best.

I use a VPN to stop seeing these ads everywhere, but the damage is already done by then.

Exactly! It's definitely not a pleasant user experience at all....i used to love visiting I-F before these ads started plaguing this site , nowadays i dread visiting this site on the whole and even if i visit i leave within 10 or 15 mins so that i can avoid looking at those images ( and the sneaky thing about those ads is that when you menrally prepare yourself to give it a half glance and click the cross button it does not appear at all , it appears when you're least expecting it 😡)
