It is a pain mainly because accessing certain FFs is now very hard. Especially because the main page generally shows the old page number of the updates on old FFs and one has to sort through 20 pages before reaching the right page!

And for privacy concerns have added an additional option In Preferences > Privacy Settings where members can restrict this page access to all / buddies only / none.

Default is all members.

If you have blocked someone they cant see your profile, send you PM and nor would be able to quote and tag.
