Yes, here is a point, for writing in the Word, there is no need of internet, but for IF you need internet.

Then, do this, first login, open reply box, and you can log out if you want, but it will be there, write in it, do all changes you want/ need and then login and send it to yourself or to any place/ person wherever you want.

I understand but when I'm writing a story/chapter, it takes me one week-two months and when I sit for editing, I do it in pieces. Now while doing that editing it might be one word or few words amidst 5 thousand which are edited for emphasis. It is kinda easy to skip the word when copy-pasting it in the reply box. And sometimes the cache clears automatically and all the changes made are gone.

thanks tho! 🤗

How do I sit and edit 5k+ words in there? Not feasible.

I understand the CSS part but could we at least retain the bold, italic and underlined parts?

I too face this problem frequently. And when posting in the FF section it’s even more pronounced since I copy-paste directly from Google docs or Word. My chapters are huge and it takes me ages to reformat.

One way to solve this is using the ‘save draft’ option. I find this retains most of the formatting and your post can be edited multiple time before you’re ready to post it.

For this here is a simple solution.

Please try this--- while copy-- pasting , instead of pressing on "paste"

Press on ---- paste as plain text Ctrl + Shift +V .

Just now, I've checked and rechecked it --- check this >>>>>> from Word document to IF reply box >>>

Three different colours.... the words are in order,

Today we celebrate the birthday or birth anniversary ( so painful to say this of a girl in her twenties) of our beloved Pratyusha, who enamored us in the world of television, an amazingly talented, versatile actress with a tinkling voice and sweet smile, always full of verve in her private conversations, full of life, loved living and experiencing the best things, pure at heart, held no malice towards anyone, always so forthright, no filter, she was what she was... and then the quest for love trapped her in the hands of an avaricious hunter, he cut her off from, very smartly, her parents, her close friends, her support system, looted all her money, made some more money by participating in shows with her, cut off all her lifelines, then betrayed her, hit her, physically assaulted her in public, left her mentally disturbed with no one to talk to or confide into, she got into deep depression and decided life which she loved so much, was no longer worth living!

Dearest Pratyusha, you have not just been our muse, you were responsible for bringing friendships together of people from all over the globe to this IF, be blessed always.

there ..there was a river ....a small boat swaying, in it me a lonely person...sailing to an unknown destination ...but ...throughout the journey...beautiful scenes , enchanting flowers , imaginations , emotional tidal waves...there was an interruption to the smooth sailing ,a tear ,a quiver in the heart ...again started...life's journey ..what an interesting subject ...so much is there to write, to express , since centuries ...people are writing ...yes... very few have the time to read ...but surprisingly all are the interesting characters ...every minute is a journey, every smile and a tear contains many stories ...yet to tell, yes... yet to tell, before that meeting, the end ...again a starting point , are we circling around the same point ... The beginning and the end points are the same ?! Yet to know ...when I will be able to know ...have no idea !

On laptops, you can directly copy-paste the gif in message box.

For mobile, copy the link address of the gif, select the photo icon in message and paste the link there. It should work. 👍🏼
