Hello Vijay,
As you know we in the FFDT are celebrating Pride Month, and it has largely been a success thanks to your support and IF members' participation.
Especially worth mentioning are the number of LGBTQ+ stories we have in the new FF section right now! We were overwhelmed to see the enthusiasm!
That being said, when an author publishes their work, putting their creativity on display for public consumption, it can be very disheartening and demotivating to find their work being 'disliked'. Especially given an important and sensitive issue like Pride, which deserves all our support. This can not only dampen members' enthusiasm for writing such stories again, but also cause a serious setback to the cause itself that is crying for better representation in the media.
In view of this, I wanted to make a request to do away with the 'dislike' button in the FF section.
In my opinion, if members want to express their disapproval they can PM the author, and if the content is objectionable our vigilant FFEs can intervene.
Thank you again for your support of Pride and the LGBTQ+ community!
