These 2 emojis isn't supported in my phone :( I used the hug code thru phone and didn't work. it showed only the code after posting. coz hug emoji is also unsupported -.-

Profile visitor option is really working ? ..The profiles of ppl in previous site were interesting to visit and had more info...now its waste and i dont even feel like visiting anyone's profile bcz there is nothing other than their username ..

And also...previously the green button shows up if someone was online and red button if offline.. And now ?

We do send email notification and also show in Site Notification.

So I have the settings on where I get email notifications for replies, quotes and private messages received. Right now as I logged in I saw the notifications here on site for quote and a PM, but haven’t received emails for the same.

I’ve observed this for the past (almost) month that I get the email late, as in after a day. Sometimes even the notifications on site are not instant.

The only reason for keeping the email setting on is to let me know immediately that I need to login and check. This delayed emails is not helping.

This is not a huge problem as of now considering all the other work that is being going on, but it needs to be fixed.

Mails from our side is fired almost instantly.

I landed on this post of yours through the email only as you have quoted my post and it was prompt (I am using Gmail).

Sometimes things might be delayed from your Email Service provider also (including Gmail). Maybe whitelisting our emails should improve.

This was never a problem until now (past month). So I thought that since the site is undergoing changes something might be wrong here and brought it up.

Yahoo might have made some changes in the last month. Thanks I’ll check into it.

Hi,

If you click on your profile you will see preferences option. Second last from the bottom.

If you click on preferences it will take you to the below screen. The notifications mentioned here are for e-mail notifications. According to your selection you will receive e-mail notifications. Don't forget to hit Update button located at the bottom of the screen after you make your selection.

As mentioned earlier, I selected No for every thing yesterday and I stopped receiving e-mail messages even when someone quoted my comments.

The site notifications you see on the left side of your profile, are automatic and we have no control over them.
