Dear Admin,

Since this forum is for suggestions and comments. I hope it is also open for posting complaints and grievances of forum members.

This is my sincere request to the forum admin, official writers and reporters to please take a few things under their considerations. I am not pointing out any one in particular and I hope that admins will take this seriously.

Admins on I-F very well know that more than 50% of members on forum are minors. it doesn't matter what kind of activities they do on the forum but at least the admins should maintain the dignity of the website. It's true that these days society is getting modern and open. Further, all dramas have all types of so called love scenes.. BUT i still feel that at least I-F should avoid using obscene pictures and videos in their articles or at least in the front page advertisement. Fine. if you provide links to external websites or upload video. that is up to the member whether they watch it or not. but at least the front page can be maintained nicely. If he/she is a fan they will open the news doesn't matter if it's a birthday celebration or serial update.. and if someone doesn't watch the show they won't open it even if it says "steamy romance", "hot scene", blah blah blah... don't make your website look like that someone needs a restricted mode button.

another point that not just me but other members have also observed is that for more than one year, I-F shares almost 10-15 articles a day but half of them are either irrelevant or fake or copied or misleading. Earlier, I-F introduced lots of blogs, magazine and video portals which were really interesting and helped both fans and celebrities to reach-out to each other.. But now, all we see are completely off-topic articles especially when it comes to Bollywood news. First 5-8 different articles on same news-then titles are so misleading and controversial. "the actress finally broke her silence about..blah blah blah..." and then in the thread it's all garbage.. "religious practice" "whether movie will be released in pakistan or not"... "she got slapped"...

"she has been a victim of eve teasing"... in a whole document long interview is that the only topic you got for putting into the headline?

the point is not about publishing 100 articles a day.. but it is about sharing less articles but concrete, precise and accurate information. Otherwise what is the difference between mainstream media and online forums. So many people show their grievances in their comments when such articles come but no progress in shown in further articles.

there is a difference in being number 1 and the best.. I-F used to be the best entertainment portal for Indian tv shows.. and members who have been on the forum for 4-5 years they know it very well.. just don't (unknowingly) turn it into one of the so many other media websites.

(used to be) a proud member of I-F

Well said. Fewer articles with a better quality would be more appreciated than the fillers we usually get nowadays. :$

Agree with you completely
The articles are not up to the mark and are more directed towards increasing IF Rank of shows which is partial cos only 2-3 shows articles are printed and rest of the shows are royally ignored

I would like to point out one more think, pls ban "i love you" comments on article lol
Members dont discuss what the article is about but comments to increase rank of favs which is annoying

I share the same opinion as you and the others do! No offense, but it's gotten to a point where I don't even feel like opening an article because half of the times they're absurd!

thanks everyone for your comments and sharing the same opinion.
thanks to all of you who liked the post. i hope that admins and mods give a serious thought about this.
I was wondering if i should share this post with mods as well so it actually brings their attention to the topic or it might just get buried in the forum..

I agree with all the points the TM mentioned.
I also have few more suggestions.

1.Please don't post same articles twice or thrice. The articles that are posted during the weekends are mostly old ones. For eg.,there's an article on why the writer thinks Barun Sobti is an ultimate lover boy or most handsome or something. That article has been posted 4 times so far. There are many other articles which are repeatedly posted by IF.

2.I had mentioned about this in one of the TB articles. I am writing it again here. When u write an article on one person, please don't tag other people who are not related to the article. I know u all obviously do this for more likes and comments from the other person's fans comments but the whole article becomes meaningless. For eg.,if u write an article on Mohit Raina and tag Drashti or Sanaya then all the comments are by Sanaya fans/Drashti fans.I mean the article is on one thing and the comments are on some other thing. 😆The whole article looks so meaningless and weird.

3.Please stop the feature of members adding pics in the comments section. It takes ages for the page to load due to the pics.

4.Mr.Vijay,when u post the Chaska meter rating topics and GA them, please close the topics because those topics are full of Spamming posts from members. On one hand, this site has made this rule of non spamming and on the other hand,no one does anything when people spam in chaska meter ratings topics.People spam their favorite actors and shows names for pages and pages and no one does anything.

5.Lastly,I find some of the articles very biased in nature. If the writers like those shows, they will only write only positive things about the shows and if they don't like any show, they will keep on posting negative articles on the show or spread rumors of the show going off air.

These are my suggestions to make this site better.Hope they are accepted.
