If every discussion thread is closed because some members are going astray, it is not fair to close the topic itself. It is like throwing the baby with the bathwater. The offending members can be banned for one month or 2 weeks. It is easy to close a thread just by making a very provocative response.
Some may just want to close everything. Sabotage. This maybe done even by Trojan horses who are planted.
