I do not recollect "Data Insufficient" error messages in India-Forums application. It could even mean that that her broadband or mobile internet data plan has exhausted.

She is able to browse all other websites from watching videos to downloading stuffs.

Yet, she is able to connect to every other sites! So clearly it is not a connection issue or an exhaustion of her internet plan!

now let me address the main point here!!!

NO!!! My broadband or mobile internet data plan DID NOT exhausted. as claimed... as i was able browse all other sites easily and FAST!!! *ahem*some blockage happened maybe 😉

anyways since i can access the site now, lets leave the matter here...

now coming back to the main purpose of the Post which i made...

i agree to the point that The UserName "BiasedModerator" MIGHT have been misleading... (Though the UserName would have agreed upon MANY members that its an apt name 😆)

anyways like your claim that "trisha4evr" WASNT my previous name...

if you had read though my post carefully... i have mentioned there that the current username(Trisha4evr),which have been ENFORCED upon me, was my First UserName, not my previous one...

my PREVIOUS username was "-Patronus-" 😳

so Please do Change it to "-Patronus-" or even better PLEASE let me change my UserName myself, since by rules i havent BROKEN any of YOUR site Rules...

I hope the changes that are to made are informed to me... and i insist on my username been change from current one!!!

So many extravagant statements have been made in this thread like "Rights violated"...

The error message you received in Google Chrome is indicative of a data transfer issue.

If you tried in Firefox you probably got an error message along the lines of
"The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web."

There are many reasons for which this error could be occurring, and any assumption that you are making about your account being blocked is most likely wrong.

As for the main issue, my opinion is that it is simply common sense. Whichever forum you go to, impersonation of staff members or just some other member (knowingly or unknowingly) is most likely going to be not allowed. Along with that, if you make it appear that you are a staff member (without explicitly saying it yourself), such as through a username, it will still be prohibited. And this is all common sense (or at least it should be). Every rule doesn't have to be written in fine print.

and its that scary... ??? members uses Private messages to share chat and without their knowledge all messages are being read...

While generally they (Facebook staff) will not go out looking for people who are posing as other people (perhaps certain influential persons), it is still against their official policy to do so. They even have a page for reporting imposters: http://www.facebook.com/help/contact/169486816475808

Another issue with the username is that it leaves a negative connotation in the minds of members leading them to (perhaps wrongly) believe that some of the staff here are biased. I believe that it is clearly stated in the Rules/Guidelines that members should take up any individual issues they have with staff members privately.

I do agree with you on one thing though. India-Forums is an autocracy where the Administrators and Moderators make the decisions. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. If this was structured in a more democratical manner than everything would run in a haphazard manner.

However this rule should be included in the official Rules/Guidelines to avoid any further misunderstandings. Along with that the member who broke this rule and had his name reverted to the previous one should receive some formal warning via a message so they are notified of what happened.

Just my opinion...

Where was the formal warning? Or even a PM to state what she did was wrong? Nothing come of it! Therefore using one's common sense, one would state there were no rules that were violated. On this forum, one ought not to assume certain rules unless it is expressly written. I mean common sense would dictate by assuming rules we are also imposing as a member of staff? No? Because we can then turn around to say to everyone to stop doing something we do not like as its a breach an an assumption of rules? Or maybe my lack of common sense prevents me from acquiring the knowledge of assumption.

Usernames like "Bitch" is used? Why is that? Is that not misleading that this forum allows offensive (oh yeah am being extravagant) usernames but a mere username with the word biased is misleading? Imitating the truth is misleading and extravagant? Why

Reading of pms! Why is the word 'private' in front of it, if that is being read by moderators? And under what reason are they reading those pms? Some might not mind, but when you are being given warnings based on private messages? Then thats a bit worrying no?

Of course you (or whoever put this as their username) should get an official warning stating which rule they violated and that their username was changed back. As the Administrator said he has already set that in place.

My experience might be different from yours but some common rules should generally be assumed. For example, it should be common knowledge that posing as staff members (or giving off connotations that you are a staff member) is not allowed. Although for people who genuinely do not anticipate this rule to be in place, this should probably be listed in the official Rules/Guidelines.

I would actually be pleased if the moderators are reading certain PMs (especially reported PMs). There are many harmful things that one can impose on someone else through the Internet and especially through private methods like PMing. So if the moderators check certain PMs to make sure that there is no breach of the rules occurring then I do not see what is wrong in that.

Forgive me if i think that some MISHAP must have happened from the other side of the counter, that suddenly i am unable to Access only ONE certain site right after questioning the working of the Website... too much of co-incident... no??? 😛

And may i ask why people gonna think moderator's team are biased???😕 😕 (Unless they have gone through some roller coaster themselves😆 )

Well you see HippoSucks People like Me... and Many Many other Members( and i am not hesitant to write 99% people ) ... Do LOVE their privacy...😳 and are extremely crossed when that privacy line is not maintained...

Reported PMed could be check.. i ahve no issues with that... AT ALL😳
