I have never tried to act like a MODERATOR to make members believe that i m the REAL moderator... because you see people have enough of COMMON SENSE and SENSE OF HUMOUR(hopefully) to know that The member using "BiasedModerator" is not the real Moderator... duhhh🥱

When did I say you did not try with other browsers? In fact I pointed out a similar error message that you would receive if you tried to access the site in Firefox too.

It is pretty obvious what negative connotations can be implied by a username such as "BiasedModerator". In the same way that, as the other person said, if someone has a username with the word "*****" in it then the message can be given off that such explicit content is allowed here.

But anyway that is not even the issue as far as I know. The bigger issue is having the word "Moderator" in the username which gives the perception that you are a staff member. That isn't a rule unique to this website. If you register on any other forum with a username similar to "Moderator" then chances are you will be notified by some actual staff member to change it.

If a person has the same name as a staff member, then of course they can use it as their username. However this case is different because it involves not a name but a staff position.

Again please read what I wrote... I clearly said "For example, it should be common knowledge that posing as staff members (or giving off connotations that you are a staff member) is not allowed." I never said you actually pretended to be a moderator. I am sure that when you chose the username, it was not your intention to do so. However, others may get the impression that you are a moderator.

It is not that difficult to understand that if someone has the word "Moderator" in their username, then there is some chance that certain members may think of that person as being a moderator. I am sure that most people would recognize that you are not a moderator and just have that as your username. However the possibility of a misunderstanding still exists.

I agree, privacy is very important and people may be sending confidential information through PMs. However, I have seen many young people use this site as well. They can very easily be targeted by some idiots online through PMs and might not be able to bring it to a moderator's attention. So in that way it is good that moderators check certain PMs.

Also there are probably thousands of PMs being sent every day. Surely the moderators do not check them all. You will have to ask them if they only check reported PMs or have other certain conditions to decide which PMs to search through.

First of all, I didn't want to intefere in this matter, but I can't help.
I know it must be hurting and you must feel you are not safe here.
But have you ever thought about this side of view:
Why do you want to change your username to BiasedModerator? Ok, maybe you could have met some negative issues from Mods, but that doesn't mean all of them are biased. Actually, no one of them are biased, they are trying to clear all the negativities, and for sure, your username was spreading negativity. And do you know, you are going to use an username for 1 year. Would you really like to keep such username for a complete full year? If I would have used an username which is not about me or related to my favourites then I would get irritated with my username seeing it everytime. but really, do you think your username was friendly? You could open up Topics, Posts related your issues with Mods but why changing your username related to mods? Aahaana is completely right, you are not moderator, so you can't comment about them, and you don't know their rights. I see many people opening topics about Mods and they are bashing them, but do you know what? Whenever you get some problems whom are you contacting first? Mods right?? Then why are you all bashing them directly like calling them biased? Ok, this was a little strange that you didn't get any pm or reminder that your username will get changed, but maybe they got sick and tired about these things? Sorry to say, but are you trying to fool members as you are a mod? Have you seen ur dp first? Ok forget this..
