I think there are many reasons behind posting ''TFS '' by many people -

From what I have understood while updating & being around in most of the forums is -

1. There are Some/Many members who post TFS in most of the forums under our WUs/VUs , only for increasing their posts and spamming.[as you mentioned]

2. Instead of discussing or stating their thoughts in any topic , members like to just post ''TFS'' , Because sometimes there is nothing to say more than that. Sometimes, mood of a member also responsible for same.

I think the better way to solve this issue is to ask members to be more descriptive in their thoughts while posting their comments. That way , we can reduce number of spams and the problems which occurs from this.

Considering the fact , we cannot say that some members who post ''TFS'' cannot read our updates. Maybe they read our updates but have no point of discussion?

So, basically, we have to first consider all aspects then only some helpful solution will come out.

Also, banning of word ''TFS'' is not the solution of this problem because spams can be done in many ways , hence its better to concenterate more on discussion in forum topics .

I agree...sometimes there's nothing to discuss then We should just Like & leave.Isn't it?Or we can also write Thanks for Sharing...Can't we write 3 words??

If member writes long post like WUs with 300 words & VUs with links to attach & it's just writing TFS of 3 letters, is not perfect & injustice to the hard work of member.

And mostly use of this, just for spamming reason...so i suggested it.

Well what more can you say in video update thread ??its a short form of thanks for sharing ...i think iits allright...yes ofcourse people use it increase rank and post.

In Video Updates...Mostly need to just Like Only ...My point is not just for WUs / VUs because in many articles or some discussions , thoughts...people use TFS.

Sometimes i eagerly want to read what is commented in thread & find just only TFS

But like Nandini said they're also part of IF life. So someone might just post TFS for an article because they have nothing else to say.

You can't completely ban it but you could report such posts as spamming.

BUT REPORT IS NOT SOLUTION.

GM , Mods , VBs all have too work hard & every times to report for just simple point , is not permanent solution

We must change sometimes in our daily life for taking big decisions & for better future.
