On one hand he agrees that those who cannot argue resort to personal member attacks but on the other hand he labels us as "hate mongers" and goes on increasing the WL for calling Barun Sobti, a Barun Soaptea. I guess there is more to it than $$, I am not sure if celebs have a tie up with India forums to weed out Hate Mongers..😉

Yaa I know right, I am still waiting for a reply on one of his threads made on IPK forum which he conveniently locked...Vijay will always come to the rescue of the so called fans, whatever dumb the excuse may be but I have never ever seen him warning them...

Its his place his rules..I don't even expect any logic or reasoning...If there was any Vijay would have definitely got a W/L instead of you for abusing his powers and name calling members which as per his code is a serious offence..

well certain popular forums cant take humour but can very well take insults ,holocaust and rape things as pretty normal and i have heard ppl even mocking deaths of some members

Vijay I tried to keep away, but here I'm to give my 2 cents. Firstly let me thank you for giving us India forums. Given that we are all so very involved in the running of the forum, shows you that at some level we too like this forum and wish for things to be improved.

You know what Vijay I understand your take on a few issues, at the end of the day you are an entrepreneur and you will do what is best for your business. If it means pleasing the masses so be it.

But all I as an ardent member of India forums from back in 2006, I would request you is to look at unbiased application and implementation of rules. I'm happy to agree to your request to not mock anyone, or use names provided you can do the following-

For every WL increase for calling someone a Soaptea, there should a WL increase for people name calling other members such as Rabid Dogs, Losers, jobless, psychos, jealous.

For every WL increase for a member who mocks the God himself (I'm sure you know who is called God in IF), there should be a WL for those who mock a member his family, his/her sexuality, his/her religion.

For ever action that protects celebrities, lets make a vow to protect those who receive death threats, offensives PMs

You see Vijay, a number of people who have posted on this thread have undergone some terrible experience in this forum, yet have seen f**k all being done about it.

Let me list them out for you- a friend of mine has been accused of giving sexual favours to someone in Star Plus as she was allowed to interview Sanaya Irani, someone received curses that wished for their marriage to break and for them to go through a miscarriage, a few of the fans of God wished death upon other members, a few compared my friends to Hitler, rapist and serial murderers.

See when you go through so much online abuse and yet see nothing done about it, yet receive a warning for calling a goat a goat, you start losing your faith in this place.

Vijay, I hope you will look into this matter and do the needful. There are far serious implications of cyber bullying and abuse. And the smart entrepreneur you are, I'm sure you will know that its time to take some actions across the board.

Our gripe isn't about the warnings given to us (to my friends to be precise), our main gripe is the lack of action on cyber bullying and abuse across the board. Which is why when someone like Lux or Ahaana close threads or warn us, you seldom see people complaining, because we all know that they are unbiased. The other mods not so much, especially a few whose name I'd rather not take here.

Talking about misspelling the names. You really have no idea what goes around here? How about actually taking out time to do your homework? Calling someone as "Impotence" is fine as long as the ID (and the operator of the ID) is Omnipotence but a virtual arrest warrant is issued if you call some XYZ celeb, who never really visits the IF on first place, a soaptea. 🥱

Well to you it may be fine cause you are sitting behind an anonymous ID with no accountability. But for others it does matters but since they cant do much about it doesn't make it right.
