when rules are made,they had to be well thought and well laid out

not to modify according to your whims

people bashing others because they said something negative about a fictional character or some person who doesn't even know you exist,i really bow to them

india is a democratic country and people are entitled to freedom of speech

if they can't control,they should just ban the whole discussing thing and put it up as just entertainment news website

Thank you velangini ji. Instead of removing our harmless posts and comments these guys should be more worried about removing these illegal moderator rules. These is already a set of rules that we agreed to as a subscriber - so they just cannot throw these new rules at us as whenever they feel like it (that too subjective rules on character/actor bashing!) We did not sign up for this! I am not even talking about Free Speech now...these moderator rules are illegal and violates the terms you and I agreed to when we subscribed to this forum.

Also these moderators never bothered to read and understand their own legal forum rules.

The real document clearly says the website is not for children under 16 ! But these moderators keep arguing with us that they have to maintain the forum for 12 year olds and 14 year olds. If they see a 12 year old around, it is their job to remove that profile!!! Instead they waste time policing adults having fun talking about a silly character called Anjali!

Yes that is a problem. The main IF moderators/admin need to interfere and educate these middle moderators. They obviously do not understand their job. The contract we agreed on does not say sarcasm is not allowed, actor/character bashing is not allowed etc etc because it is written by a lawyer.

cause the number of members is huge

they should be prepared to handle any situations

they just close down topics if they recieve 2 or 3 reporting pms

some people report it for plain revenge

and they doesn't even review the threads

It's been mentioned by a moderator that children under 15 read the posts... and that's why the bashing posts are removed so they don't learn wrong things from here.
But the fact is, IF rules don't allow a child under 16 to join IF !!!!
So how come under-aged member will read posts?
Mods are in serious need of knowing the rules and regulations of IF actually.

I think the only hope is to open chat clubs like many ppl are already doing
