And the background solution. Di, a half an hour WU takes an hour. Double the time. I have tried it for 2-3 weeks. It does help, but it is too time consuming. If a default BG would be introduced, it would save time😳

Agreed that its a good post. Even i have tried the image for my updates before but people could be so lifeless to actually copy word by word i have written. At least they have to go through the trouble of writing one by one word instead of blindly copying. Hope a solution could be given to address this problem that we have been facing for so long 😕

sounds like a good idea. Need to hear it with Vijay whether it can be a possibility to prevent our updates being copied to other sites.

i thought for preventing members from copying updates, we use NOCOPY tag...😕 i have used it many times and i couldn't click or copy any part of the post..so do we really need colorful background like yellow? 😕
couldn't we have a watermark of IF in the background of updates and other important posts.? watermark always remains and i don't know if anyone can erase or remove it and then copy it...

I don't know how many know but there is a background picture with India-Forums logo all over it, but that hasn't worked either. Because all these other websites have decided to either just watermark OVER that watermark or have decided to ignore it and let the credit go to India-Forums.

The No-Copy tag doesn't work either because these members are very cunning and smart. They know how to take screenshots. Even VB somehow disables the screenshot availability, there are add-on's that let you take screenshots. I mean how much can VB play around with is the real question.

Hope there is a solution for this soon though. I hate seeing our work being copy-pasted and plagiarized anywhere. 🤔
