hi all i recently discovered this forum :) im new here.
and i want to contribute to the forums.
but before i might do anything wrong i wanted to know wether this is allowed.
my question is.. i want to upload serial episodes. mostly i'll upload them on ziddu.com or megaupload.com. the quality of the video's will be good till high quality. and in mp4 (ipod compatible format). would this be allowed?

You should PM the mod of that particular section/serial you want to upload the episodes of...
And mostly the coolbie's of that section do it

Hi

Uploading video updates or doing written updates is fine as stated u need to get in touch with that sections mod before this can be done
Also u have to be very active in posting in section u want to update for u have to reach a certain ladder group before u can apply to be a coolbie or else u can ask a mod maybe they can appoint u if ther r no updaters for ur section

Hi from what I know , both ziddu.com and megaupload.com have some serious virus issues , the ads embedded on those sites contain malwares and spywares which may be harmful for the system. If you want to upload any videos then please try hostingcup.com , the site seems good without any annoying pop ups ! :)

Secondly , before you post videos for any section on I-F, you need to take permission from the respective Development Team Member. If the DT member allows you to post videos then go ahead and post the videos but if a Videobie is already existing for the section then you wont be allowed to update unless the Videobie wants a back up updater.

And yeah the video should not contain any text or logo indicating that the video is from other forum/site. This is considered as advertising and is not allowed on I-F. :)

and @Ishan. i dont know about viruses.. never had problems myself with megaupload or ziddu (all i know is that the download speed at megaupload is excelent! 1 movie of 700mb i allways am able to download within 2 minutes. and naa my uploads wont have any links to websites or forums (i dont even have a own website..yet) but i will have to say.. thats weird what ur saying because ive seen a lot of videos posted here which did have watermarks on it with a website link(im shure u must have seen it olso. the link site im talking about it desi**fo***)..they do got permission to do that? :S

Sorry but I am not able to view that video ! But if it has some other site watermark then its definitely not allowed.If a DT member notices it then such topics are definitely trashed and the member receives a Warning Level increase.
