Time and again we raise our voices against the inefficiency of moderation, and time and again it's conveniently ignored.
But we aren't going to give up, ultimately we are all striving for betterment, and that's a good thing. Only thing is that everyone has their own ways of fighting for justice, and I think that isn't a reason to close down a topic and not let it go on. Big deal, they'll just make multiple IDs and comeback with more topics that bite more cruelly.

Tch Tch, India-Forums never learns from its mistakes.

Ever heard of the quote - "laaton ke bhoot baaton se nahin maante". Let's apply this quote to DB and EVERY BIASED MOD on I-F. They're not worth being nice to and talking with respect because clearly, they don't deserve it. Speaking for myself, I used to talk to him nicely when I first came across him a year ago on this site but then I was like "SCREW YOU". If you ain't giving me respect, then you ain't getting any back.

If someone tells me to list all the biased moderators/viewbies I've come across, I'll be able to name them right from the top of my head. Yupp, that's how bad it is.

I-F frickin' reeks of biasness and corruption. It's about time someone does something to fix this problem.

even i want to name them yaar but problem is very simple, its the whole gang of friends as modz so whatever u do and whatever name u take these modz will not take any action, the real problem is that immature and biased bodz are at the top, thats the problem which has led to admission of new modz a corrupt act aswell. they only admitt their friends as modz so that no body is there to take any action

I have no idea whats the issue between the members and DTs here but after reading through some of the posts here can understand some mods has misused their powers, instead of just complaining why not provide facts and possible evidence so it can be looked up by higher authority😛

It's definitely happened in the past, no denying, Moderators would recommend their friends and the next minute they're moderators. Suppose say that we agree to your point about it not happening now, Then what about those moderators who weren't chosen on skill/efficiency but merely on recommendations?

According to me, this is unfair to those who want to be Moderators now. They should also be given a chance merely out of recommendation, why should they work their asses off and prove that they have a potential to Moderate or are capable of being Moderators? Why should they do so, when some of the current running Moderators were chosen based on friendly recommendation?

What is the guarantee that they are capable? Even if they are capable, then they have proved it after becoming Moderators.

In that case dont you think that other members should be given a chance to Moderate? and if that is out of the question, Then demote the current Moderators who were chosen out of recommendation, let them work hard, grind their noses and asses,prove it, according to the current requirements, and then let them receive promotions. This seems fair to me!

To clear out something..

As Aahaana mentioned, we dont have acces to all members IP adress. only GMs and Admins do.

We CM only have acces to our channel members. and the reason for rights to check members IP adress is not to find out where they live but to pretend MIDs and ban those members. If only Admin or GMs had the rights, then it will be really hard for them to check several members IP adress everytime we think its MIDs.

Second, its true that in the past we comr through some DT members who misused their powers, and they got their rights removed and are not in the DT anymore. We want to help our members and if any DT member mis-use their powers they will get them removed and it includes me also and the GMs , ..

THird we dont have acces to read ur pms. Yes its true that the admins, Gms and CMs have acces to edit ur profile, but its only used in the case some Mids or someone promote other forums or someone use abusive language etc. Again we have no interest in editing profiles and we only do it in very serious or Needful situations.

Last about promoting friends, I know this has happend in the past but as far I know we are doing our best to promote those members who deserves it.

When a DT member suggest a members name the member dont get promoted right away. the CM checks if the member deserves it and at the end the Admin and the GM again checks if the members deserves it, by looking at the members work in the forum.

I hope this cleared some of ur confusion..
