I was wondering the same thing .
I would really like to know wat happens when we submit the information. 😃
Well the process is simpler as soon as a member submits the application it comes in the Dev Team Join Request page which is viewable to the Moderators, CM, GM and the Admin. The moderator of the section can just see the applications of that particular Forum only. CM is limited to forums of that channel.
So the process starts with Moderator / CMs goes through the application and reviews it. If they find them the right candidate they are referred to the GM/Admin after a bit of background check on members conduct on the forum, past post, quality of post (should not be a spammer) and other qualities that we are looking in our Dev Team members.
Currently Priya.Nair is taking care of the promotions so she takes the final call on the promotions.
I understand that there should be atleast a response back whether its being considered or have been rejected along with a brief reason.
We would implement this soon so that a member gets a PM once their application is reviewed along with the comment of the reviewer whether they are being considered as a Dev Team or not.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Vijay

I agree with ur suggestion hun!Originally posted by: Eloquent
racks, some DT members get around 600+ PMs and I guess replying to them all would be quite time consuming even if all they have to do is write a YES or NO.
But I guess they need to address it....maybe they can a system where they just have to tick mark those being considered....and an automatic PM is sent to the member concerned which tells that member whether they are in the green light area or the red light area (no pun intended 😆)
