Hi Siree, very nice update.

For me it was a WOW performance from Sumeet...he was superb...and I agree with the judges here for a change. Till Sumeet was half way through his song...I thought Chhavi performed the best.

So I liked Sumeet and Chhavi the best today. Manasi disappointed for me today...I thought she could have been better.

Kapil was alright...not his best performance.

Sachin ji performed better than usual. Ragini was completely out of it...I did not like her singing today...still she got 8 points from Alisha ji.

mansi, sumeet and kapil were so good today...absolutely loved them...and sachin uncle nice try but sonu nigam is sonu nigam and for me no one can ever do his songs justice...but again nice try...lol...

I also liked Chhavi the best, Sachin & Sumeet were good too.
MAnsi didn't impress me today, not her best, Kapil was average too.
Ragini was horrible.. it was her weakest performance and probably weakest of this show !
Next one to go should be Kapil.

Just watched the epi

kapil: was quite good, thoda bahut sur se hili, but i am growing to like this guy and the way he sings

chhavi: she is so melodious, if she was a trained singer, she could have ruled over a lot of people, today her song was beautiful and she deserved every single marks she got.

Ragini: she was in full josh, completely determined to enjoy the song and act and dance with it and fully besura, this is probably her worst performance ever and i was oddly reminded of debina's screeching

Mansi: nice, notes done, lack of emotion imo., When she sings something Indian, i noticed last week, her voice is so much natural it sounds extra beautiful. when she attempts such songs, she tries to incorporate some western classical ways which are artifically done and which sounds very weird and offkey. for example: chalo tumke le kar chale, she will do an extention. a jazz trained singer will give modulations there and which she tried to attempt but failed and ended up being slightly off note there. When she was doing natural singing, she was quite good. Her todays act was good but somehow her last week act with raja hassan and her qawali still tops my list

sachin: he was just the way he is, sometimes good, sometimes going off note, singing with full concentration

sumeet: bravo for his attempt, specially the high notes are very difficult for this song, he gets my applause for attempting them, yes he needs to work hard , he is falling a little behind compared to others

This is getting so tough.I loved all the performances today except for Sumeet's😭

My personal thoughts:

Chavi:"aaj ki raat"-loved her performance today.she did a great job.enjoyed it a lot. my fav part was when she sang the "aaj ki raat...khona hai kya"first in low pitch then at a higher pitch.she managed it beautifully.very impressed.

Kapil:"roop tera mastana"-He was really good today.very nice.was being all flirty and fun and brought out the mood of this romantic song.

Sachin: "jaane tu yaa jaane na"-I was nervous in the beginning but there was no need for it at all.He sang it so beautifully.jazz style is so difficult but he did a wonderful job.loved it.as always it was a joy to watch him on stage.

Manasi: "teri neeyat kharaab hai"-I love this song from Teen Patti.WOW,she was so,so good.I got goosebumps when she went on to the high notes.and she handled the low notes so well. It was such a controlled performance.complete rockstar today. shaayad Paarthiv ka asar hai😳

Sumeet:"bin tere"-was looking foward to it.but disappointed with his performance.he was the weakest today.I am very sad cause I like him.

Me here to give d updates of Star Ya Rock star on 20th November..that is Sunday...😃

Today...judges gave contestants a challenge..they have suggested..d songs...which are out of d comfort zone of d contestants..😳

1.Chaavi..:.Alisha gave her song..."Aj ki Raat"..from Don..😳😳..cos chaavi always used to select classical numbers.(by ashaji).😳chavvi sang it well..👏but still her voice shivers at certain points...😕..n she can use d base scale...at"faisla hai yahin"..instead she has sing it in high pitch..😳okie..she was good today...😳😳happy to see her attempting..d song in low notes..at d starting of d song..😳which she never does..😳😳Good choice by Alisha..😃

2.Kapil sang "Roop tera mastana"😆n it was given by Alisha..😳😳he did it well..but I find him weak at certain points..he cannot use n bring d strongness n firmness in his voice..which he does in d case of panjabi numbers..😕still it was a good performance...with all flirting attitude..😛

3.Sachinji..sang.."Jaane thu"..😳😳😳..n it was selected by Anu Malik..😛I will say..a perfect choice...as sachin always pics..70's n 80's songs..n always sings panchamda's songs..😳n he did it very well today..👏👏👏..d Jazz style..was so difficult n he did it really well..👏👏I didn't expected his voice can go to a certain range..like he sang d bit"Maane thu ya maane na"..😲but he was very good today..👏👏with all..his entertaining attitude..😳😳

4.Manasi sang.."Tera neeyath kharab hai"😳..n it was chosen by Alisha..😳😳..but what d hell...can;t alisha find a better song than that..😡even if it was...a club song..Manasi..did it really well..👏👏👏..d starting of d song..with low notes..n then in d middle...ur voice has to settle down...n then immediately..she has to catch..d high notes..😳😳and she was so comfortable with d range changes..and performed it reallly well..but have to agree...it is indeed a difficult song..n she performed with d perfect attitude..👏👏as there was..Parthiv today na..😳😳

5.Sumeeth sang..:Bin tere"..it was chosen by Anu malik..😳😳as d song is completely in d low scale..n it was d point which sumeeth lacks..Sumeeth was out of sur from d start of d song..😕he was singing like as if he was reading a book..😳..but it was good attempt by him..👏

Today performer of d week was "Sachin"..😳😳😳..n top 2 were Manasi and Sachin..😃

But my personal favorite..was Manasi..as it was a difficult song..with d change of ranges..😳😳..so,to vote her please type..MANASI and send it to 57575...😃

Next week's theme is Disco..and Bappida is gonna come..😳😳

Well..its judges choice of songs today that the contestants have to sing...

Chhavi...Aaj ki raat...she is good today...she is improving very well n this is really good for her...

Kapil...roop tera masthana...i never expected he would sing this song in that way...he is really good n his flirting attitude was really funny to watch him...

Sachin...jaane tu ya jaane na...wow he is really good today with the jazz type of song...n what ever harkhathe he took while singing were really superb...

Manasi...well parthiv is here today...n we can see the love between them...niyath kharaab hai...she is fab n she did total justice to the song...as she said in the video bit before her performance, she always choose those song which give good scope for her to sing, which have good music in them...which helps her to increase her range...these were the things we were telling abt her choice of songs from the day the show is on air...n today she her self confirmed it...just loved how parthiv proposed her n also the small bit of HDDCS song that they sang together looking into each others eyes was really good n lovely...

Sumeet...Bin tere...he is good in high notes n also he improved in low notes as well...over all a good performance...

So today toppers were Mansi n Sachin...Sachin is the Dhamaakhedaar Performer today...

Spot Light Segment:

Loved how Manasi n Sumeet went to meet their respective music teachers...they share a very good rapo with them...

So the next weeks theme is DISCO theme n looks like Bhappi Lahari is coming n so the theme...so looking forward to some foot tapping songs on saturday...
