Ragini deserved those 20 points...i loved her performance.
The only part in which i found her a lil off was the startin of antara otherwise she was fab

Any objective person can see that Manasi is a better singer than Ragini...but ppl aren't voting objectively for the more talented performer...they are voting for the actor/singer they like more...simple as that😆

sorry but I completely disagree with you...I don't think singing is objective, it is as subjective as can be, because if singing was objective then a whole lot of people would go crazy over Adele than for Lady Gaga...and the same can be said about Mansi fans as well...most of the times you act like she is the greatest singer ever when she clearly isnt...I'm not saying she is horrible but yes she is not as great as some of you make her out to be.I remember one week when I had commented she was underwhelming and someone was like "WHAA how could you think that?". Same is being applied here...for Ragini fans she was the best today as Mansi was for you guys

Going by your point, IF singing was objective then I think Mansi and Ragini are on the same level, they both have different vocal quality and different tone so to compare them the same way is unfair anyways.

And yes she did deserve that 20 because she sang the song in a language in which she is not native to, she enjoyed herself immensely and on top of that she had great expressions

Since when did enjoying yourself and having "great expressions" become MORE important than CORE singing in a song performance? But if that's your criteria, then yeah I can see why you will enjoy Ragini's performances more than all the other singers...maybe this competition should be renamed expression rockstar😆

Sure some things are subjective...but there are some basic criteria that are used to measure a good singer with RANGE and ability regardless...Lady Gaga CAN sing, period...she has range...Ragini unfortunately doesn't to be frank...Manasi has SUPERLATIVE range...some of her performances may not be as good as her other ones but her RANGE of singing ability cannot be denied if anyone chooses to view it objectively. I would rather listen to a singer who's SINGING pleases me...what is the POINT of a singing competition if I'm only supposed to look at ppl's EXPRESSIONS?😕😆

Lady Gaga v/s Adele...that's a question of mass popularity ...pop songs v/s soulful ones...

*Edit: @blue: Yes, Manasi and Ragini have different tonal quality but Ragini just cannot match up to Manasi's RANGE as a singer...her talent, her training SHOWS...Ragini on the other hand does odd things to her voice in her attempts to find sur many times...she needs to work on her singing a lot more. And bottom line remains that based on TECHNICAL talent and the sheer VARIETY that Manasi has shown, she DOES deserve to win this competition unlike certain ppl implying that her winning will mean this is a "rigged" competition.

Um first of all...core singing wise (according to my ears) I thought she did a great job at the song, there was no need for you to be rude about it...for me I look for EVERYTHING in a performance, the costume, the singing, the expressions and the way the contestant is towards the audience, which Ragini fulfilled completely...so excuse me for trying to be entertained while listening to singing...if you dont want to look for a full on entertaining performance then go for it, but dont try to force your opinion on others.

Hello I'm not being rude...I just expressed my opinion...please explain what's so rude about asking that a SINGING competition be judged on the basis of SINGING ability before everything else?😕

Firstly I want to clarify one thing...stop trying to paint Manasi fans as "blind worshippers"...I never said that she is the greatest thing since sliced bread...but yes if this is a competition about ACTORS who are singers, then she FOR SURE has fantastic range...And LOL Manasi only impressed you in the Aaja Aaja week...hahaha and here I thought that was her worst week so far...ok yeah it's pretty obvious we are viewing this competition in TOTALLY different ways😆

Lastly, I was debating a point in this thread...so please don't try to be so defensive just because your favorite is in question...I have frankly expressed my opinions when I've not liked Manasi's performances or anyone else's either...I'm not here to fly a flag blindly as a fan.

Well first of all let me clarify my point here about rigging, did I say that if Mansi would win it would be rigged? All I said that if channel does not interfere in results as they normally do ( so many shows have been rigged as it was found later) then Ragini would win because of her Performances and Vote, as fortunately for her she has got strong vote bank, Mansi would have as well I am pretty sure but this is a competition where you are ALLOWED to show your support for your favourites , if it was only on judges then I am sure result would be different for MP , s fan and RK fans too, reason ??? Well in all honestly both are good but can both can UNDERPERFORM too! They are not extremely great , they are good, but obviously compare to real singers they have far to go. I agree with Tanu and said as well you can not like everything or everybody, if we think Ragini is great you can not say we are wrong as an authority it's not 2+2 , singing is an art, you can object to people,s choice , e.g I cam nit stand Himesh Reshamya,s singing, but look there are hundreds who like him, people like Atif Aslam , some says he is rubbish, so by all means support MP , but in order to support MP you don't have to hate or degrade others, who ever they are, the results would tell. Same applied to Ragini,s fan , I certainly did not say or meant that if Ragini would not win then it's rigged, I had some one else in mind and no it was not MP!!!! so relax and enjoy who ever you support, in order to say that Ragini is good I don't have to say that MP is bad, and I never said any such thing, I didng enjoyed dholi taro but I enjoyed her teray bin , please differ in opinion but don't be do aggressive ! @Venture: Literally every second post of yours in this forum says, "If this competition is fair, Ragini should win"...there is a difference b/w wanting your favs. to win and going to the extent of claiming that any other deserving contestant winning would be "rigged" or unfair.

Every fan will obviously want their fav. to win, no denying that...and when have I said that Ragini fans shouldn't root for her to win...but at the same time I feel it's been obvious on many levels in this show that Manasi is a better singer than Ragini...if ppl want to bring in other factors like costume and expressions in the performance, then that is their opinion...I was speaking strictly of singing ability.

Yes, Manasi has her bad days too...I didn't like her 'aazma luck' performance or the aaja aaja one much...but she was fantastic in 'tere bin nahin lagda, udi udi, Iktara'...and she has proven her vocal range...that is my basis for saying she deserves to win this competition.

@bold- yes goes to show that we are viewing the show in two completely different viewpoints😊. I told you...in a compeition like this I look for everything and not just raw singing ability...I look for the entertaining factor(I do the same when I watch American Idol and X-Factor). Performance wise I thought it was Mansi's best- the singing, the costume, the way she executed the song, I thought it was her best while the other times I found her to be boring because she only stood there and sang, she didnt perform, she just sang(quite well I must add)

I'm sorry but the way you worded it it sounded like you were rude...I apologize, I took it the wrong way😊. I'm not being defensive either😕...the way you think all Ragini fans are blind worshipers is the way I think all Mansi fans are blind worshipers. In the topics where they ask for favorite, I haven't seen a single comment that isnt praising Mansi, which makes me think that yes somewhere down the line that people are choosing fan favorites over singing ability(no matter how bad or good the performance was)...that goes for both of these fan groups. Most weeks I have found Sachinji to be the best performer and not Mansi, yet I see almost no one commenting on that (again that relies on subjective interpretation of the performance)

I am like you, I too don't blindly worship the ground Ragini walks on and I think neither do the rest of us...I also had said that for me Ragini's worst performance was Lag Ja Gale and every single Ragini fan had said the same thing...so stop trying to paint US as blind Ragini fans as well because we are not, we do bash her when she is doing something wrong...in THIS performance most fans thought she did a great job...the same as you thought that Mansi did with her song.

Oh and here I thought I was the only one who thought that. She so didn't deserve the 20. She's quite an immature singer...there's no spontaneity in hr singing...a lack of flow. She sings very rigidly...holds back herself...and I understand why she does that. She's not very confident about her singing...she knows that if she doesn't hold back, if she let go...the sur would slip. She has a longgg way to go.

And what's a big deal about Ragini being a bad singer. Toh kiya hua agar nahin gaati acha...she's not a professional singer...she's an actor and she's good at that. Who cares if she wins or not...in fact I think it'll be embarrassing for her (and her fans) if she win this...because I think only a veryyy stupid fan or someone with no sense of music would believe that she deserves to win this with the likes of Sachin Manasi and even Sumeet in the show.

@bold...You know, I agree with you on this...though that's because I believe Manasi is on a whole another level only. Ragini is very mediocre...her singing is very BASIC...Ragini needs a lottt of training to reach that level. Now see if I compare Ragini with Chhavi or Manish or Neha toh comparison banta bhi hai.

@bold WHY should it be embarrassing for her to win the competition?? she is working hard just like the rest of them, juggling her serial shooting with practice hours...she is in the competition to win like the rest of them...and to make a judgement that she will suck throughout the whole competition? that's just wrong...you're not even ready to give her a chance...time will tell who will be a claer winner...remember Susan Boyle...everyone had already pinned her to be the winner of BGT but she came second...anything can happen...but to make this judgement that she clearly doesnt deserve to win? that's just wrong Chavi, Manish and Neha are also there to win and to participate in the competition...so why be unfair to them as well? Who knows they might do a 180 and emerge as the dark horses (well except Neha since she's eliminated) Chavi too has the potential to win if she keeps on performing like last week

I find it so funny that Mansi fans are being unfair to other contestants just because they are not as superior at singing like Mansi is? Every single contestant in this competition (besides Debina) has proven that they CAN sing, so why just shove everyone to the side and keep Mansi on the pedestal and say she is the best😕 sorry but once again I don't think Mansi is as great as you people make her out to be YES she is a great singer but the best in the competition? I dont think so (again this is ALL just my subjective interpretation of her singing)
